The owner Kym and her team are very welcoming. My 4 night stay meant I soon felt at home. My room was lovely with everything I needed and a lovely view from my balcony. I made good use of the self serve laundry facilities which were well-priced. The breakfast was very nice-especially the scrambled eggs- a nice addition to the continental breakfast. The location is perfect. It is in a quiet area but a short walk soon brings you to the town centre or better yet a lovely riverside walk where you can witness locals jumping in to cool off and be carried downstream. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and the nearest station is a ten minute walk away. If I ever return to Interlaken, I'd love to stay at the Post Hardermannli again.

Thank you, Hotel Post-Hardermannli, for providing such a warm and welcoming stay. Although there was no elevator, the front desk staff was kind enough to help carry my luggage upstairs. The view from the room was amazing — I could see both the sunrise and sunset over the Jungfrau right from my window. The hotel is conveniently located near Interlaken West Station and close to a supermarket. The breakfast was lovely — I especially enjoyed the fried eggs and scrambled eggs! 🍳😊 Thank you for making my stay in Interlaken so comfortable and memorable!

The staff was amazing!! Everyone was so courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, & helpful! Since it was our anniversary vacation, they decorated our room with hearts, rose petals, & swans. We were surprised & delighted! The room was beautiful & so clean!! We loved the balcony they gave us (& the fan since there’s no AC). It was a wonderful experience!!

No AC, & our European electronics adapters didn’t work because Switzerland has a different size, but they loaned us a fan, which helped so much to keep it cool, & an adapter, which we very much appreciated!!

My daughter and I had a great 4 days. The breakfast is fantastic , with a choice of different eggs. We recommend scrambled eggs !! It's close to Interlaken West. An easy bus route to Interlaken Ost, or a 25 minute walk. We had a view of the mountains from our room, which was beautiful, and we enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings.Lots of places to eat close by if you don't want to walk very far.

You can hear traffic noise from the front, however, it is worth it for the view! Also, the bathroom fan is quite noisy!

We chose Post Hardermmannli because of it’s location. It’s in the beautiful section of Interlaken called Unterseen and a 10 min walk from the train station. What we didn’t know was the incredible view from our room. The staff spoke English very well, were extremely friendly and helpful in suggesting restaurants, and sight seeing. Don’t miss out on Lauterbrunnen, our hike above it was the highlight of the trip. Our room was super clean and a good size including a balcony with table and chairs to enjoy our view and the hang gliders went right over us from the mountains! The daily breakfast included not only the traditional meats and cheeses but eggs made to order. With the free transportation card provided you can utilize the bus system to see all of Interlaken and the main station is a 10 min walk. There’s also a grocery store close by. We highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

We didn't mind it but I'm not sure if the hotel had an elevator. Those who pack their giant bags might not appreciate that.

A great hotel and highly recommended. In a lovely quite part of Interlaken, close to good restaurants. The staff are fantastic, all incredibly helpful and very knowledgeable about where to go, what to see etc. We had a spacious room with a balcony and spectacular mountain views. Definitely worth paying a bit extra for if you can, especially in the summer. Excellent breakfast, eggs cooked to order, a good choice of meat, cheese, cereal and fruit etc Would definitely stay here again

The hotel was perfect. Fantastic location about 5 minute walk from Interlaken West. Easy to find too. I had a single room with balcony which had a beautiful view of the mountains. The hotel.was a typical Swiss building, staff couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. The room and hotel extremely clean. The breakfast was lovely. Enough variety for any taste. Rooms very quiet too. During the night it was as though it was soundproofed. I didn't hear any outside noise at all. I wouldn't hesitate to book again and would certainly recommend to friends and family. Very impressed

What a great welcome, unfortunately I didn't manage to get the name of the receptionist but she was so friendly and welcoming. The hotel is a few minutes walk from Interlaken West train station and within walking distance of all the great restaurants Interlaken has to offer. You can walk to Interlaken Ost station in c.10 minutes and from there you can take trains up to the mountains. Fantastic views from the rooms at the front of the hotel. Tea/Coffee making facilities in the room. Very nice lady on reception also helped me with the washing machine. You can pay 6 francs to wash your clothes and 6 francs to dry them and there is also an iron and ironing board available. We were given a key to enter the hotel after reception closed.

The ladies in the dining room could take a few lessons from the receptionist, not once were we offered eggs for breakfast even though others were.. Never a smile or good morning, just asked our room number, end of conversation.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience overall, the location is fantastic; everything you need is within easy reach, from restaurants to shops and attractions. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with any questions or requests. Breakfast was satisfying, with a good variety of options to start your day off right. Parking is limited on-site, but if those spots are taken, there’s a nearby parking lot about 200 meters away. The best part is that you can park there for free from 7 p.m. to 8 a.m., which is really convenient.

The only downside was that there’s no elevator. For those with heavy luggage or mobility concerns, it might be a bit of a challenge navigating the stairs.

Staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Lots of family history and artifacts adorning the premises. Eating area was cozy with fireplace. Staff gladly provided glasses, utensils, and corkscrew for wine and cheese happy hour. Breakfast was great... made to order hot dishes and nice selection of fruits, breads, cheeses, etc. Owner provided personal family info which allowed us to view the traditional decorating and procession of the cows when moving them to lower elevations for the winter...very cool! During a medical emergency, every staff member offered, and owner actually drove me to the hospital ER. Every staff member expressed genuine concern for my well-being during and after the emergency.

No elevator to upper floors, but this was a very minor inconvenience as there are only 3 floors.
