The Best thing about this hotel is the location , it right next to the Interlaken west station and bus stop , if you nee to travel in Interlaken its going to be very convenient. Several restaurants and Coop's/Migros near the property , very central location to the main street/shopping. The hotel rooms are little small and not very spacious , good for a couple stay.

There was no ramp for stroller , just staircase so it was quite difficult to take the stroller up and down everytime we left the hotel. The rooms are a bit tight, the breakfast could have a little bit more variety , we stayed for 3 days and exactly the same breakfast was served. Little pricey for the room and the amenities provided. Could be a little more reasonably priced.

The location was perfect.... Right opposite the train station and when ur lugging suitcases, being close to the station is a massive plus.... The room was very clean and the main manager was exceptional... She was very helpful in her recommendations. The hotel was perfectly located close to all amenities like shops, station and restaurants.... The only thing I wasn't happy with was the shower.... Very compact but still rate this place 5 stars as that was a small issue for me... The breakfast was nice and the lady that looked after the area was very very nice.... The scrambled eggs was one of the best we had in Europe.... Overall recommend this place...

The location is great, just opposite of Interlaken West train & bus station, right in de center of town. They offer breakfast - nothing very special, but all the essentials you need. Service staff is super friendly and helpful. Staff at front desk as well. Super friendly, helpful, customer satisfaction and sustainability is of high standard here! very happy. Room was clean, no AC, just ceiling fans and fresh air which was awesome. I would recommend this hotel absolutely!! Thank you fro taking care of me and my family, We will be back for sure.

Amazing hotel, fantastic location. Bus station and train station directly opposite. The hotel staff are amazing, super helpful and really friendly. The breakfast was great, lots of variety and the chef was a delight, so helpful. The cleaners always did a great job and the room was spotless. Overall we had a really great stay and would happily book again.

No mini-fridge in the room (especially for the price) but I believe there’s a fridge at reception that can be used by guests, but never got around to asking. A double bed is just two singles pushed together, but still comfortable. The rooms are slightly outdated, mainly the bathroom, but with it being so clean it’s no problem.

They customer service is very good, the staffs are warm and friendly. The rooms and toilets are spacious and clean. The breakfast is very good and there is a variety of food to chose from. The train and the bus stations are just a minute away from the hotel. The stores are all near by. Buying of foods, sourviners very convenient.

To have more English channels on TV. To have phones inside the each room so the guest don't have come out to use the single phone at the start of the floor entrance or go to the reception for assistance.

We had an excellent stay at the Merkur Hotel! The location is perfect, just right across the street from the train station, so finding and going out for our activities is effortless. There are also supermarkets and restaurants nearby, so it's convenient for getting food and other stuff. The hotel and the room are clean. The rooms are very cozy and have a smart TV that can connect to other applications such as YouTube and Netflix. The size of the room is good. Even though the room does not have AC, they have a big ceiling fan and a small table fan in the room. Breakfast is good and the view from the breakfast balcony is amazing. The lady staff who made my food was very kind and welcoming. They also have an ice-making machine and microwave on the first floor. All service staff were exceptional. They were so welcoming, helpful, and willing to help. They allow us to store our luggage before checking in and after checking out. I highly recommend this hotel!

I got a room on the side next to the train station and street. There may be some noises when opening the windows, but it's quiet and not a problem when the windows are closed. The size of the shower room is pretty small.

I had an incredible stay here! The location couldn't be more perfect—just meters away from Interlaken West train station, which made getting around super easy. The view from my room was absolutely breathtaking, offering a picture-perfect look at the surrounding scenery. The staff were not only friendly but truly beautiful people, always warm and welcoming. And the breakfast? Phenomenal! So fresh, delicious, and a great way to start the day. Highly recommend this place if you're staying in Interlaken!

Nothing everything was amazing

The hotel is very accessible and convenient, close to train and bus station. The room is clean and tidy. The hotel receptionists are also accommodating, professional and friendly especially Joanna. During our arrival she gave us information that we need during our stay and places to go. She surprised me with chocolates and greeting card on my birthday, which is a very sweet and a thoughtful gesture. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends who will be visiting Interlaken.

There are not much choices with breakfast. I may suggest if they could serve croissant bread and sausages too.

All staff are very nice. Delilah welcomed us and gave us tips on how to go around, also gave voucher for free bus rides. Decent and clean room with mountain view, room only has a ceiling fan but not an issue for us since weather is cold during our stay. Good breakfast and great if you’re able to get a seat at the terrace/balcony if the weather permits. Best part is the hotel is just across the train and bus station in Interlaken West. Many shops and restaurants around.
