The hotel is very central and directly by the historic castle. We arrived late and tired with two dogs. The place is in a pedestrian zone so we weren’t sure how to unload dogs and suitcases. The manager walked outside to show us how to access public underground parking. Once in the lot - the exit was only a two minute walk to the hotel. They have an excellent restaurant and we (dogs included) had a great inexpensive dinner. Inexpensive in Switzerland is a rarity. There were no extra fees for the dogs and the room included breakfast.

The pillows weren’t comfortable. The breakfast was very basic but included.

This hotel is so close to all the things you would want to do in Bellinzona. The front desk staff and every one of the wait staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel gave us a discounted rate on the parking garage 1 block away. The hotel is lovely and it feels like you are staying in someone's historic home. We loved it.

Our room was warm and there was a portable a/c unit but we were unsure of how to drain it and keep the cold air inside. We were a little cramped with a teenager, a dog and 2 adults, but we all fit.

Excellent location 5 minutes walk from the hotel. When we arrived it was pouting with rain so the nearby Aktiv Firness gym of which we are members was a bonus as that saved just sitting in our room watching the rain. Friendly staff and very good restaurant - which we already knew and therefore which influenced our choice of hotel.

I could talk about the noise but I must accept that it was New Year's Eve and so noise and fireworks were to be expected. However the "Polce Time" was 100% respected. I noted that at 02;59 am the party appeared to be in full flow and at 03:00 am .... STUMPF! Excellent. A bottle bank - private to the hotel and under our window did disturb us somewaht however.

Fantastic location and view. It's very close to the main station and to the main castle. You can see the main castle from your window. There is also some castle walls behind the hotel. It's very beautiful. The morning coffee is great. The wifi is good. It has a small refrigerator in the room and a towel dryer, very good. The employees are very kind.

It could have a safe for putting some important stuff inside. But that's ok

Perfectly situated with views to the castle and a lovely bar/ restaurant downstairs which is great for both a coffee / snack or dinner etc. The room was perfect for two with a magnificent shower and VERY COMFY bed. The hosts were extremely courteous and happy to do that little 'extra' that helped make our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this hotel.

Noting really

I loved the building that was built into the side of the granite rock face and the interesting views from each window. The setting very pleasing with views of the old town buildings and the snow spattered swiss mountains. Plus very peacefull and quite in my room. Yet downstairs really enjoyed the homely feeling of dining at the hotel restaurant. Plus food was great and breakfast not to be missed. Extended my stay by two nights.

Friendly, attentive, competent staff. Very nice restaurant with extensive menu of well prepared food. A very "at home" feeling all around. Beds and pillows were perfect We booked the last available room spontaneously during a festival that was delayed and were very glad to have landed here. Will 100% be back next year, same time!!!

It is very hot in July in the area... Although a fan was in the room, and a sort of a/c that functioned only as a fan, like most places in the area, it was still rather warm to sleep. It is not a "dislike", more a fact that comes with the territory.

Both inside and outside, the restaurant was very good, staff super friendly. Had dinner and breakfast and was very pleased with variety and quality available. Bedroom clean and the bed was very comfortable

The bedrooms are a bit dated and i am sure the owners are aware. I would pay more for a more up to date design. USB charging points would be great.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff are so accommodating and friendly. The room a good size...Great for three with a dog. And the bed was unbelievably comfortable. Location perfect. Easy stroll to catch the lift to the Grand Castle. It is directly under a tower of another castle wall and a stroll to the town centre too.

All was good

It is an older building, clean rooms, comfortable beds. The hotel is at the foot of a castle and it is a short walk (5 min) to another castle where we had a dinner. There is a resturant in the hotel with a good breakfast. The staff were helpful. All around great and one of our favorites. The town is fascinating
