Location was not good at all - in the center of GIUBIASCO - difficult to reach and mive around without a car as the 2 buses coming 5 min away from hotel are every 30 min and not at all coordinated but both arriving in same time so if you miss them is a 30 min waiting ….

The information on the booking is very misleading - it says PIAZA GRANDE BELLINZONA … in fact the hotel is in GIUBIASCO and is a 13 min walk from train station GIUBIASCO which is a 7 min ride from Bellinzona. - this was not good and was my mistake of not double checking and we ended up in this hotel in the very quiet Giubiasco … hotel is all it says but is NOT in BELLINZONA city so without a car was a lot of inconvenient back and forth. Hotel is correct and nice and quiet and staff very very nice and friendly

This is a beautiful hotel, with a nice restaurant, and a superb breakfast. The rooms were big and everything had a very luxurious feel. Our room had an extra floor with a little watch tower from where we had a nice view of the city.

As we were on the top floor with slanted walls, tall people like me will bump their head regularly. Only thing I can think of for this section is that there was no coffee machine in the room, only tea. But they had great coffee in the restaurant.

Check-In staff member was incredibly friendly, competent and efficient. Reminded me of the good old days when you were greeted upon arrival and made to feel welcome. She was genuinely kind and courteous. Also spoke fluent English. Check-out was also smooth and the colleague asked how I enjoyed my stay and took the time to give me useful tips to visit Bellinzona. Excellent English. Thank you both! The hotel is very quaint, charming and comfortable. Set in a pleasant part of town at the top end of a large square. Around the square you will find plenty of places to take a coffee, aperitif and dine. I did not dine at the hotel but from what I saw it looked very good. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, located in a quiet spot at the back with a pleasant alpine view. The furnishings and floor very elegant. The bed incredibly comfortable and offered a good nights sleep. The absolute highlight was the bathroom. Tastefully tiled in stone / slate tiles. Fully equipped. The rain shower was heavenly. Tip top clean and fluffy white bath towels to top it all off. TV channel guide is available and the channels organised in a user friendly way. The only thing I could comment, is apart from the wall mural picture behind the bed, the walls are bare. The desk and side tables are also bare. Maybe a small detail could be added here and there. Otherwise this was a great experience and I can thoroughly recommend La Tureta. Many thanks!

Everything was perfect. A couple of minor details could be added to the room to make it a little more "homely"

Breakfast was exceptional! My family enjoyed the options, and our waitress and front desk staff were so helpful and informative. It was a bit further away from the main city, but I think the location and park outside the hotel make it very family friendly. The room was spacious and fit the three of us comfortably. We would definitely come here again!

We arrived early in the morning due to no traffic jam. They instantly checked if the room was free and even arranged it that our room would be cleaned as first. The parking-spot was also free so within 30 minutes we could take a shower and fresh up. The room was as expected, clean and nicely! The personal was so friendly that they even suggested we make use of the breakfast that was being served without additional cost. We recommend it anyone! With 2 adults and 2 little children in one room it was even cheaper than less star hotels with only 2 person rooms.

The hotel staff were cheerful, friendly and helpful. This applies to the reception, the bar as well as the breakfast facility. They were helpful with selecting the proper room for us and with luggage handling. We were allowed to leave our car at the parking until late afternoon the day of our checkout without any extra charge. The location is nice. Quiet at night time and not too far from the city of Bellinzona, which is easily reachable by bus, train or even on foot.

There is nothing with did not like. The breakfast options were fine and absolutely sufficient. The only little point of improvement is that eggs and egg preparations were not kept hot.

The staff were helpful, attentive and charming. We did a lot during the days and the hotel was always a welcome to come home to. Restaurant was very good, rooms clean and comfortable, location good. Excellent ice cream shop across the square.

We were on route from Italy to Germany and needed a place to stay overnight to recharge. We arrived late and were welcomed by very helpful and accommodating staff. Registered within minutes, upgraded into a spacious loft suite which we can fully recommend. The suite was super clean, fine bedding, very comfy and spacious bed. Well equipped and clean bathroom. The suite was beautifully decorated contemporary/old style mix. Great views of Bellizona and the mountains. Lots of cafes around the hotel if you do not feel like having breakfast there. We did not have BF at the hotel, but checked it out and they have a great looking buffet spread. We took coffee in our room, and it was GOOD coffee. Check out at noon allowed us to rest up before the next part of our journey. We would come back.

All was wonderful. Just like with other booking.com bookings it would be good to have clearer instructions on parking arrangements and how parking reservations need to be made.

The staff were friendly and efficient. The reception desk people were especially welcoming and helpful with info on bus service and other services available . The waitress at dinner was very friendly too. The room was immaculate , and the entire property is charming. We loved our stay

Dinner was not in Line with previous experience. The dishes were not particularly tasty. The beef tartar looked and tasted industrial, although we were assures it was freshly sauces. The pasta alle vongole didn’t have much taste. And service was somewhat distant.
