Room was very big and comfortable and also the bathroom. Even though the hotel is next to a pretty busy road, the quality of the external doors and windows meant it was generally really quiet.

I got the room on a good discounted rate. The original price was extremely high, and I would have been disappointed if I had paid the full price. Also, I think if paying the premium price then the toiletries of the bathroom should be more available. There was two small sachets of shower gel only not enough for 1 person. Overall, it can be better for the guests and also more sustainable for the hotel to use bigger shower gel dispensers that are attached to the wall. They wont need to be refilled as often as replacing endless sachets and also cuts down on waste packaging.

Air conditioning was a blessing during the hot weather. The restaurant serves incredible steak. Plenty of parking in the underground car park so the car stayed cool. Lovely walks by the river just across from the hotel. Easy access to autoroute. Spacious rooms.

Getting the Ticino ticket was a little complicated as they do not have staff on duty all the time - would be nice if it was arranged in advance so it was ready and waiting for you in your room. We got there in the end, though and they printed it in reception in time for our final day.

Easy check-in and free easy parking

The restaurant was closed, and we weren't allowed to get a coffee. So perhaps much better food and drunk facilities in the foyer. With all the 21st century check-in and QR codes, how are there no USB ports in the bedrooms. Oh, and the shower flooded in room 510, and some bulbs were out. And why is it the heating control.never works in hotels in general. 78 degrees in the bedroom, AC too noisy as usual.

Location, ease of access, underground parking for my motorbike

The stupid paper tickets that struggle to be read by the readers in the lifts and on the room doors. After a LONG ride when all I want to do is have a shower and I can’t access my room OR the lift because the QR code won’t scan is absolutely infuriating. A better system is needed.

Very easy check-in with late arrival and early departure option - it is automatised and you do it alone in a hotel lobby on a touch screen with ATM-like keyboard. You get a barcode on receipt paper (so take a picture of it with your phone for reserve) and you get a pdf receipt/invoice on your e-mail. Breakfast is served from 6 30. The room was really spacious with many storage surfaces, bathroom was big with a jet-shower cabin. My room had access to a small balcony which looked over the main road and roundabout where you reach the hotel. Automated window blinds are operated by a switch and the room is really quiet when everything is closed. Within the hotel there is bar/pizzeria. There is parking space for motorcycles outside the hotel. They have mentioned the underground garage, but I have not used it.

Breakfast was good, average, but nothing special or overwhelmingly good.

I am all for optimization and automation… but tjey forgot to add the human touch to it… everything works w a bar code that they (the machines that run this hotel) print on a little peace of paper (and send to your email, of course). The scaners that are reading the code have to work hard to do their job… we humans are constantly in doibt if we are able to please the machines to let us use their elevators, locks, garage doors. I have never in my life used longer to figure out the shower (that was juat challenging design, no bar code required I figured). Overall, a nice experiment that I did not mind… breakfast btw was sterile but food actually of good quality. I spoted to working humans there that must have prepared it…

not a bad place but check in a little tricky and felt a bit 1990's with its aging tech that was probably suited for a while ago

the check in process felt a little clunky with old tech. The shower in the room was really hard to operate. not just me being an old codger but it was form over function. After i mopped up the water from the floor, the room was fine

clean and well maintained.

the self check-in will take some getting used to if it becomes a trend. We found it to be ok but an older couple came in after late at night and could not figure it out. they didn’t speak English and I didn’t speak German so it was difficult to help them. but we eventually got them checked in. the absence of any clerical staff onsite will make it difficult for some.

Nice rooms, fairly basic but nice. No coffee facilities but clean and the shower was nice.

I was a bit cold - asked for an extra blanket which they provided but I still had to sleep with my coat over the covers even with the air con turned up high. Air con was a bit noisy.

The location right after the Gotthard pass and right before the Italian border is perfect! Self check in is easy and quick. Free parking in the garage, balcony is nice and the room was nice overall. Also noticed the black out shades really made everything completely dark. Combined with really good isolated room and doors/windows made for a pleasant sleep with no noise or daylight from outside.

The balcony was a bit dirty on the floor and had a few cigarettes on the floor from other people.
