Otherwise all very nice and inviting! In general there are only small things to improve and I was very happy with the room.

A lamp is placed in a way where no power outlet is. Also, power outlets were hard to find, or did not work (bathroom). The placement of the clothes hangers is not ideal. The fan in the bathroom seemed constantly on. Is there a way to turn it off? Internet was of medium speed. For a videocall meetng this would propably not be ideal.

Besides bed, table and bathroom the room also includes a large refrigerator and a kitchen fascility. The room was cleaned everyday. The location is in the center of the old town and rather close to the station. In the evening the street in front of the hotel is quite lively which give a good atmosphere.

I did not find a safe in the room to lock my valuables in. This was not a problem for me, as I carried my important things with me during the day, but it may be for general tourists.

Great location from the main Friourg station which was a few minutes walk away. I used trains to go to other town/ city, so it was so convenient and also there is a little Ice cream shop in front of the hotel with many Vegan options! All clean, tidy and hidden kitchenette was just a bonus although the cooker was out of order.

I was surprised there was no aircon and it was so hot this August. There was no fan available when asked the reception staff. I guess that you didn't expect this extreme heat in Switzerland in the past. I had to keep the windows open to get air in to the room but there was so much noise at night from party near by after 11pm! I didn't order breakfast at the hotel as there was not much options for vegans and not worth extra money.

beautiful room fully equipped, new and renovated. Hotel is in excellent location right in the heart of the town just by Georges Python square. We had room service every day with fresh towels.

We had a kitchen with stove, but it was out of order unfortunately, we would have preferred to be able to make use of it. Also, pillows of the bed were extremely voluminous and hard, making them uncomfortable to sleep on. When we asked for different ones, we were told there were no alternatives. Pricy but not more than regular prices for the area.

The room had 2 large windows but only 1 had a curtain. This meant as we opposite other apartments on the other side of the road we had to remember to remain clothed rather than as we might choose to dress. Asked for a curtain to be fitted - this was never done. The room had no air conditioning and it was very hot. Would be helpful to have AC or at least a fan. The room was very noisy being street facing... and the noise was never-ending. Without AC we had to leave the windows open. Sleep was impossible! The outlet in the shower was blocked.

Central location, wifi, calm, everything is very convenient. The room is big, feels rather like a studio apartment - with a table and small kitchen, including a fridge and a kettle. This way we didn't need to pay additionally for breakfast (15chf is not cheap). I definitely recommend.

The building/room could use some renovation: eg. shutters on the window are broken, the stove is not working. Though this didn't influence our stay at all.

At the time of booking I was assured that there was a safe in the room. Unfortunately this was not the case. When I mentioned this to reception they were very apologetic and readily offered free breakfasts as compensation for the incorrect information. This is a positive in terms of customer care.

The restaurant - breakfast place has no windows but that is due to the downtown location and cannot be changed and the most difficult thing was the shower. Small and cramped and not clean enough.

Very clean and seems to be renovated. The staff was friendly and efficient. Breakfast buffet had everything you could ask for. Right in the centre of the old city. Car had to be parked in the public parking garage close by.

The location is great, 10 mn from the train station and the room. The fact that there were a huge fridge as well as a tea kettle, this was very useful.

There was no safety box and as the room was next to the elevator, I could hear it working but this wasn’t a big deal. There weren’t any toiletries.
