We really liked the room per se: spacious, well decorated, nice modern bathroom. The staff was very nice and the overall position was okay (bas ville so it is in the lower part of the city whereas restaurants are in the upper part) and quite quiet. The bas ville is easily accessible by bus or funiculaire (we also walked which is nicer going down)

I knew there was no AC but the room was really hot and the only way to survive the night was to keep the windows open. However just below the room was the restaurant which of course was noisy until almost midnight and in the morning we were woken up by the light, by cars and by the church bells. In addition the bed had only a duvet / light comforter instead of having also maybe a blanket / sheet for summer so we slept without cover… We had to keep the windows open but even with the windows closed there are night curtains but they let a lot of light in so not so great.

Beautiful and very quiet place, nearby a gorgeous church and old bridge over the river. Very comfortable bed and room, with coffee, water and chocolate! The design and branded items are very nice. Breakfast very good. Staff from reception and breakfast were exceptional and extremely kind!

Nothing to report. All was excellent. The hotel is a bit far from city center, quite walk down hill, but there is a Bus in front of the door every 10 min!

The location was in the heart of the old town and yet quiet and relaxing. The hotel contacted us via email with a pass for the busses and other activities. Both the city and the hotel exceeded our expectations. It was quite a lucky find.

We knew which bus to take, but didn't know that it was inside the station, therefore after many laps looking for the bus, we schlepped our bags to the hotel. I am sure it is due to our lack of experience with travel, but having that notated somewhere would have been great!

The location is closed to the "funiculaire" which takes you to the center and the bus stations. The staff is very good. Very good breakfast with preparation on-demand (like a restaurant). It is served at the table. It is very tasty. I liked the food and the drinks (hot and cold).

The shower a little bit difficult to use it hands free.

The hotel is well kept with sufficient modernity. The staff were so friendly, there should be more of such hospitality in Switzerland! They were simply lovely, from check-in to breakfast up until check-out.

Nothing! For those traveling to the hotel, it’s important to be aware that only the number 4 bus provides direct service to the hotel. If you take other buses, be prepared for a bit of a trek – they only stop at the top, which means you’ll need to navigate a descent on cobblestone streets with your suitcase in hand.

Great location close to the river in a beautiful part of the town. The staff were all really friendly and extremely helpful. The room was comfortable and the breakfast good.

In the 36 degree heat air-conditioning would have been nice! But the room had a fan which helped a lot.

The hotel is nicely decorated, with really good taste. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking spaces in front of the hotel (extra pay).

We visited the hotel in August. It was pretty hot. Windows are really small, so even when opened, it was not enough to cool down the room.

The staff were very kind and helpful. We had a wonderful dinner in the hotel restaurant.

There were no teabags, only coffee capsules in the room. Unfortunately the basin was blocked and the water took time to flow out.

The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. The restaurant attached to the hotel is outstanding! The sleeping rooms were spacious and clean and just over the bridge from the old town.

Nice location close to downtown and walking/hiking trails. Very friendly and helpful staff - in particular, I wanted to thank Alexandra for patiently answering all the questions, giving recommendations for walks and places to eat, helping with issues in the room, and making some special arrangements on the last day of our stay. I would also like to thank Antoine for his kind attention and rememering which guest I was and what I needed.

Unfortunately, the room itself was not what I expected. It was adjacent to the restaurant's terrace and faced the street, and was therefore quite loud late at night and early in the morning. The room's cleanliness was also not up to four-star standards. Overall, however, a pleasant stay in Fribourg.
