We had a really great time in Nyon hostel. The balcony was so cosy with a view of the mountains. Room was so spacious! There are even shelves for cosmetics by the sink and hangers in a wardrobe for your jack. Everything was so clean! Bathrooms are very nice with private booths. Breakfast was okay in a nice cantina. Good kitchen. Chill room okay. Maybe not so social compared to other hostels, but extremely good value for money. Towel and bedding included, as well as use of good kitchen and lockers with card lock (no padlock needed). Would happily return. Nyon is underrated and so beautiful.

Walkable distance from Nyon station. Clean rooms, provided locker, linens, towel. Have toilet and wash basin inside the room. Nice area. Clean space. Offer books to read and netflix to chill. Have some indoor games probably not sure. Have spacious kitchen and dining area. Free breakfast. Have balcony. Many spacious shower cabins inside shower room on the floor with extra toilet and multiple wash basins. Room was also spacious with good view. Good manager, staff and their support..

Little problem of internet but manageable

Nothing to fault this hostel, seems purpose built and apparently quite new. Well laid-out. Beds basic but comfortable enough, with power points, light and privacy curtains. Comfy furnishings throughout the chill-zone, dining area, and terrace. The hammocks in the garden were a nice touch. The communal bathroom was immaculate for a hostel, and a single enclosed toilet in the dorm saved a journey with card keys in the night. Warden and staff all quite cheerful and friendly. Very affordable for Switzerland in the summer, compares well against other popular destinations.

It's a bit out of town, but a short and regular bus ride from the town edge railway station.

Great facilities, one of the best hostels I've stayed in! Even though its at the pricey end (was in a female dorm of 6) didn't feel crowded, plenty of secure storage, power points, nice toilet and sink in the room, and really nice modern bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff and cool 'chill' space available as well!

If being super picky, I like my showers to be single-sex, however they were still great and it actually worked pretty well here as they were spacious. It is also a little but out of town, however there's a supermarket close by and other food options, so still very reasonable!

I stayed one night and to me this hostel did the job. I have stayed in several hostels across Europe and the metal bed frames in this hotel did not produce too much noise and squeaks! I know that doesn't sound like a big deal but for someone who has stayed in so many hostels, quiet shared rooms is a big plus. Usually, people staying in shared rooms are very considerate and try not to make too much noise. But that tends to be difficult if the facilities and furniture are squeaky, old, and produce too much noise the moment you move around. I thought that was exceptionally "Swiss" to have sturdy and quality bed frames in a mid-priced hostel. The tap cards that worked for the in-room locker was also a nice touch.

Unfortunately, he hotel didn't have a standard "toiletries pack". I had to buy a whole bottle of body wash because the receptionist was offering a really small bar of soap. Some hostels I stayed in had body wash and shampoo provided for free, or you can purchase them in small but reasonably-priced packages.

Clean and organized room. Nyon Hostel was my first introduction to Swiss Hostel policies on putting your bed sheets which is great. Sharing toilet is state of the art. It’s like going to a membership gym washroom and has its own wall hair dryer which is fantastic. The staff are all great! They explained the check-in process very well. They had a free storage locker area downstairs which is helpful because I usually go out and explore around the area before the actual check in time.

I had a great experience staying at Nyon Hostel during one of the Paléo Festival nights! I chose a 6 shared female bedroom, that had lockers for each traveler, wardrobe and a toilet inside. Bed was comfortable, with blackout curtains, and linens clean and in good shape. Shared showers where in the same floor, with private boxes that included anteroom and then the shower itself, besides sinks with big mirrors and hair dryers. Great location –accessible by bus or train from Nyon Station– and with the festival shuttles running in the front. Personal was kind and attentive, and the breakfast was good! It has shared kitchen and chill out room, and a barbecue in the garden. Best value, definitely would choose it again!

The room was bright and spacious, every bed (bunk beds) has curtains that guarantee total privacy. Even if no shower in the bedroom, there are a toilet and a sink. Hear this: plugs in the locker, so I could charge my phone and laptop in total safety. Building and furniture are new, no luxury but quite comfortable. Good breakfast including with price, this one being quite fair for being Switzerland.

There is a locker room in the basement, you can rent a locker for 1 euro per day. But my (ok, very big!) suitcase could not fit in any way. But I must say: I left the suitcase in the basement room and nobody touched it!

Good equiped rooms, bed with curtains, nice shower room, good breakfast provided, friendly staff, great prices for Switzerland. Very easy to get to the mountain, ticket is included.

Since the affordable pricing, many people stayed or lived there long term or big groups for work trips, smelly room at times, not so much travelers vibe
