Welcomed by the manager who was attentive at all times. Good sized room with comfortable bed.

We were disappointed there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. We didn’t realise until late in the evening after which time the manager had gone (8pm) otherwise he may have been able to supply a kettle etc We like to sleep with the window open but the traffic was noisy throughout the night. It was a warm night and it would have been useful to have the portable air condition unit on but this required the window to be open which let in the traffic noise. To be fair the double glazing on the windows was excellent and shut out the noise with the windows closed.

Travelling by bike. Staff very accommodating. Fabulous restaurant. Unfortunately closed Sunday night but we were able to have a late lunch there and highly recommend it.

Restaurant closed Sunday night and nothing open in town. We are cyclists so this was a problem. But staff very helpful and provided good info on local bus to get us to next town to have supper.

Excellent stay at the Écu Vaudois, a refurbished traditional village inn with a wonderful view over the lake. The manager and his staff were very attentive and made the stay so much more enjoyable. Clean rooms, great breakfast and easy parking. Fair price for the region. We didn’t try the Italian restaurant but have heard great things from locals and will go next time!

The staff is super friendly and helpful. The owner is the most charming gentleman; very helpful and accommodating. The restaurant of the hotel is excellent. Highly recommendable. The rooms are clean.

Not overly convinced about the mattresses though. Due to the vicinity of the main road, it can be a bit noisy... if you sleep with the window open. This remark more concerns the architect of the bathroom than the hotel itself: the shower is awesome, but the bathroom is flooded when you're finished. A design flaw. But I see it in many hotels.

We really wanted a smaller hotel with personalized attention and convenience to many of Lake Geneva towns. The owner accommodating nature and overall hospitality was outstanding! Truly!

I only wish the parking in front was a bit easier to exit. (but I am not the best driver-lol). Very convenient though!

Perhaps the best place I have stayed at in Europe. Everything about the place is exceptional - the rooms, the personalized service, fresh breakfast in the morning...

Welcoming host, large room with lake/mountain views, good breakfast, onsite free parking. Good location to explore this beautiful part of Switzerland. Walking distance to restaurants, bus stop and shops. Recommended for a stop-over

While this is no fault of the owners, the hotel is located on a main road which can be noisy.

The staff were very friendly and helpful in catering to our needs - early breakfast or late lunch. Spaghetti pomodorro was delicious.

It’s near a busy road but it’s only a very minor intrusion.

Very nice hotel with lake view of Lac Leman! A bit noisy with the traffic overnight if you have the windows open! Our mistake! Delicious breakfast with very personalized service from Walter! He is a great guy!

Noise of traffic!

We arrvied late at night towards the end of dinner. The staff were so genorous they kept the kitchen open until we ordered Food great. Great loooking property. Could be used in a movie The hotel should be one of the small leading hotels of the world. Ive stayed in 5 star hotels that were not as good as Boutique Hôtel de l'Ecu Vaudois Keep up the great service. We plan to be back some time in the future Best Wishes from the Glasgow Porsche Guys
