Beautiful boutique hotel with a sumptuous breakfast. Very nicely designed and comfortable, and the staff was so friendly! And having a kettle (not a coffee machine in the room) to make my tea was very much appreciated. I look forward to staying there again.

The twin beds are very narrow (was scared to fall off during my sleep), and depending on the size of your guests this could be very delicate. For one night it's fine but if I was to stay longer, I wouldn't have felt comfortable enough.

Great location, short walk from the train station with easy access to the main town. Up on the hill above the lake, so good exercise if required and, if not, the bus service is worth checking out (a stop just across from the hotel) - the walk by the lake is worth it. Very comfortable and well-designed room. If I were to visit again, I would consider a room with a view over the lake and castle, it's beautiful and definitely worthwhile. The restaurant was excellent (need to book, lots of people seem to come from outside) and breakfast was very enjoyable, my favourite of the five hotels we stayed in during our holiday. The team working at the hotel were excellent and (bar one woman the day we were leaving which was disappointing) were all totally charming, efficient and helpful.

Second time I've stayed here. Location of the hotel is great, easy walk from the station, into town and down to the lake. Breakfast is excellent. Staff are friendly.

Only minor issue was that I didn't receive notification in advance about the Carte de Nyon giving free use of the excellent local transport, but it was easily sorted at reception (but I had to know to ask).

Only minus, no parking. Big open parking opposite the hotel. Not so easy to find space on a Saturday. Would advise to take train.

Location was excellent, right near the main streets with shopping and restaurants, and minutes from castle, waterfront and train station. Staff was excellent and very friendly. Breakfast was good, but could have had a few more hot offerings like bacon. Hotel was beautiful, room was large and great view of castle and water, with a nice balcony. Very modern room and the decorating, furnishings top notch. Bathroom was great, with double sink, terrific, spacious shower and lots of room. And yes, there was A/C, which was needed and greatly appreciated in the hot weather. Bed was firm, which is to my liking. This boutique hotel is the perfect place to stay in Nyon.

Bathroom mirror over the sink was recessed and somewhat dark, making its utility less than ideal. It was also too high for shorter people, including my wife.

The location and view couldn't be better, restaurant outside and inside are pretty . Excellent breakfast and snacks. Most exceptional however is the staff; extremely helpful, going out of their ways to satisfy extra wishes, very personal service.

Garage for the car was available, but pretty narrow.

Very clean. Staff very welcoming. Excellent views from hotel. Lovely breakfast with fresh bread from the bakery next door. Very close to train station and was able to get train straight from airport and frequent trains to Geneva. Rooms were modern and had a UK and EU plug as well as swiss. Would definitely go back

Didn't want to leave

Breakfast was excellent with a good selection of cold meats, fruits, bread and pastries. All extremely fresh and great coffee too. Would highly recommend.

We are regular visitors to Nyon because our son lives here. The hotel we normally use was full this particular weekend so this was our first time staying at the Ambassador. The hotel is extremely nice, very clean and the staff are warm and friendly. The only negative thing about our stay was the comfort of our beds. The mattresses were quite hard and we didn’t sleep very well as a result.

Really lovely bedroom and nice balcony, with beautiful view. room size big enough and bathroom very big as well. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel very central located and has a very cosy atmosphere. Will definately go back soon again, it was worth it. Oh yes, and parking opposite the hotel, so problem.

Location, view, cleanliness, customer service, amazing breakfast, gorgeous patio and very nicely appointed rooms. got a room in the upper floor with a fantastic lake and castle view and a private balcony. Both of the guys at the reception are impeccable very accommodating and courteous. Also the guy at breakfast very nice and attentive.
