This was such a lovely place. We were only able to spend one night, so I’m sure we missed something, but it was all wonderful. Our view over the lake was superb, the bed comfortable, the shower good, the air conditioning was great, the place itself is adorable. The town is so cute. We had dinner at the restaurant which was very good.

We are coffee drinkers and expect nice places to provide good coffee in the room. That was their one failing, to provide only freeze dried coffee and only one cup per guest. Then they charge for coffee at breakfast. Tsk tsk.

Best staff, so friendly & helpful. We booked dinner last minute & they gave us the best table in full restaurant. Great views over lake Geneva whilst having a balcony breakfast. Clean & comfortable. Parking not far away but you can drive to hotel for drop off & pick up of luggage. Ferry to Switzerland & lake towns on your doorstep

Steep climb up into the town may challenge some people

A fantastic location on the shores of Lake Geneva, and a historic hotel in the center of medievil Yvoire. Staff was friendly, parking was appreciated though difficult to access. We loved our stay and our room, the beatiful views were exceptional and the wonderful balcony. The hotel is located right next to the ferry dock and the yacht harbor, with many restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was okay, and the hotel does their best with limited morning staff (as it is really situated to provide lunch and dinner service only). Definitely eat breakfast downstairs and not in your room for more variety. Dinner was good, but expensive, as Yvoirre is a fairly upscale destination. Be prepared to spend 50 or more france on lunch per person and 75 or more on dinner per person. Advance reservations recommended, especially at the hotel's restaurant for dinner. Make them when you arrive.

Directions for getting to the hotel and parking should be boldly notified on the hotel reservations and website. You can't drive into Yvoirre (with some limited exception with pre-clearance and during certain times). Parking is hard to find if you aren't familiar with the area. Roads outside Yvoirre can be congested, a wrong turn can mean an extra half hour or more as many roads are one-way. We hopefully fixed this for them by adding their underground parking location to Google Maps for them!!

What an incredible hotel experience. We had a top floor room with balcony overlooking the ferry landing and it was superb. The room was large and airy, the furniture and bed very comfortable. The hotel has a very happy yet professional vibe and is very attractive: the light seems to filter into it no matter what time of day. Conveniently has it's own restaurant which had great breakfasts (room service option) and dinner. Easy walking distance to everything in the village. Perfection.

There isn't a thing we would change.

Stunning setting and the staff were amazing, helpful and friendly and the hotel is picture perfect

When arriving by car, information to access the inner town would of been helpful. We had to park up and walk to the hotel to get the code to pass through the bollards. There is a steep hill from the hotel up to the centre, it didn’t bother us but for people less able it might be an issue.

fabulous location overlooking the water and port of Yvoire. Access to the sister hotel outdoor pool was a real bonus too. Parking at the sister hotel. Setting for the restaurant is super. Boat access on the lake to Geneva.

the staff were very helpful and always friendly trying to make us feel very welcome and well looked after. We ate on the terrace of the hotel on the first night and it was a spectacular setting with great service and food

Location was amazing. A return visit after 38 years! Just as lovely as we remembered though lots more tourists! Beautiful cosy rooms. Very friendly staff. Free parking a short walk away was a bonus.

Nothing we didn’t like!

The hotel has the best position in Yvoire. We have visited the restaurant on many previous visits and finally managed a short stay. We thought the term ‘suite’ for our room was a slight exaggeration but the view etc. was spectacular. The staff ,all of them , made our stay outstanding with their attention and helpfulness to two very elderly clients.

Wonderful hotel by the lake and in the old medieval Yvoire itself. Louis at the front had been most helpful in us settling into the hotel after a long drive from Provence. All facilities and room worked well. Had 2 meals in their busy restaurant and both times were excellent

Not much to not like, except maybe a little pricey for the room. But it comes with all the good stuff mentioned abive
