Before booking this place I was a bit skeptical because I read some negative reviews about bugs or noise issues, but in all honesty, hotel residence Loren was such a comfortable start to my stay in Switzerland with my parents. We booked a family suite which included a bedroom, an extremely comfortable big sofa bed in the living room with a pantry and dining table and refrigerator. The host Manuela was extremely helpful and provided us with information to our queries. There is a migros convenience store just a walk away making it easy to grab some snacks on the go, and the train station is about a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel too, depending on ur pace and if you’re carrying any luggage. The hotel has its own restaurant on the ground floor, from which had lunch on the day of departure and it was satisfying.

The staff is wonderful, the rooms are comfortable and clean, the restaurant is fantastic and it is close to all public transportation.

It is close to the train tracks so that can be a bit noisy at times.

Had 2 excellent dinners at the restaurant. Location to train and bus were awesome. Close to 2 grocery stores. Room was large and had a washer/dryer. I will be back to stay again.

Everything was fine

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The front desk staff was very instrumental in getting us transportation to the airport especially after we had booked two other parties previously, but they did not show up. She was awesome!!!

Breakfast service was good. Parking was arranged up front so we were garranteed to have a spot. For the self check in we received an email the day before arriving with the passcode for retrieving the accesscard. The room was cleaned every day and they did a good job at that.

Although the room comes with a kitchen, we needed to rent an additional cookingbox for the cooking utensils. Price was 35,- chf for the entire stay.

trains passing very close to the hotel making noise from time to time. if windows are closed, the noise is reduced significantly

Good italian breakfast, large rooms, good bathroom facilities.

Noisy from 6 am to 11 PM with the rails nearby. Prices a little high.
