The hotel is still in the family who built it in the 30s. The extraordinary host Samuel (and his daughter and friend) makes you feel like you’re a long lost friend coming back to visit. They don’t have the ordinary reception desk. You are invited in to the dining room and offered a cup of coffee while Samuel goes over formalities while small talking. Kindness and calm is the prevailing ambiance in this establishment. Just love it.

There is nothing I didn’t like. If you are after standard luxury this is not for you. You must be able to appreciate qualities from an era when strangers would become friends and sit down at the inn to enjoy new company.

Extremely helpful reception from the owners. Very friendly, lent us an adapter for our electric devices as we had bought the wrong one, and even got some extra pie one evening that their friends had bought for them. The scenery from the room and the hotel was beautiful, and it was incredibly easy to get to with bus stops right outside.

The beds in the room were a little uncomfortable, would have been improved with a mattress topper, and noise travelled very easily throughout the building, however for the cost and all the positives this didn't bother us in the slightest.

The rating is with respect to the class of the hotel (nota 4-5 stars, but a simple one with shared bathroom). Excellent customer service: we arrived late and had a sports events that required breakfast at a very early hour. Everything was arranged and waiting, including a nice smile. The hotel and room are simple and not new but clean and maintained. Great value for money.

Not much sound-proofing for the room, but given the comfort class of the hotel it's not surprising.

Hotel les Touristes is a very basic accommodation, but with super friendly and helpful staff. We actually ended up upgrading to the property next door "Hotelski", since it is under the same management/ownership, and had available rooms. Both seem like a fair value for Verbier and the specific location. We enjoyed our stay and would go back.

The owners and their daughter are so nice to me, everything!!! I came for the music festival, and they are experts about anything! So warm and lovely stay here.

The host make guests feel like at home. Is always available to fulfill guests wishes.
