The hotel (some places called a hostel but definitely more of a boutique hotel) was close to the train station, very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the art and decorations and the room was also much bigger than we were expecting. Definitely met our expectations and we enjoyed the simple and easy breakfast. We were able to find nice restaurants within walking distance and the night markets were a 30 minute walk down the road that was also easy to get to. They clearly have taken on board feedback that I have seen in some reviews such as coffee now being free downstairs and having covers for the couch.

Not so much a dislike but something to be aware of is that the hotel does not always have staff. However they sent me a message the day before I arrived asking for my estimated arrival time and providing a number that I could call.

It was an easy walk away from the train station. The room was big, and very peaceful, so I slept really well on both nights! The hang out area downstairs was nice as well - I was able to linger there after check out, while waiting for my train to leave.

It came as a bit of a surprise to me that the room didn't really have a window. it made me feel a little claustrophobic. Also, it could have been cleaner - especially the floor and the shelves didn't seem that well cleaned. Then again, the sheets were nice and white, which is most important to me. Sometimes, the toilet didn't flush properly.

Generally clean and cosy, ample space in the room. Pantry area on lvl 1 provided free coffee and water dispenser. Nearby convinence store and watsons. Provided disposable slippers.

Water heater need time to heat up the water, and also not consistent in providing heated water. Shower head is too high up and at a weird angle. Blanket too small for 2 pax on double bed. No daily housekeeping. 8min walk from Train station, not too easy if bring luggage as the road to hotel is uneven. Breakfast is cold sandwich with cold red tea. Vegetarian has a warm rice ball option which seems better.

the rooms were very clean and spacious. the rooms had everything we needed and nicely decorated. we loved the common area for self serve good coffee. the hotel has a great location close to a supermarket and restaurants. Miu Miu and Ray (owner) were extremely helpful and making sure we had everything and were available to answer our many questions to Taroka NP. Miu Miu organized a private car/driver for us to visit places that had no bus routes. we loved our stay (3 nights) and wanted to stay an extra day but they were already full for the weekend.

Place was convenient. Abt 10 mins to train station & next door has a supermarket. It has a lift, coffee maker, water dispenser & fridge. Room has hair dryer & sufficient plug points. Was also quiet.

It’s abt 20 mins walk to night market. If you arrive after normal hours, u can only call a local number (not WhatsApp call). So if u r using eSIM, not so convenient. Breakfast is basic with either sandwich or burger with a chilled herbal drink.

Clean spacious room, very comfortable bed and big bathroom. Clear communication and very friendly staff.

The thing that disturbed me most was a constant zooming noise throughout the night (sounded like a motor or maybe the AC of an adjacent room, mine was switched off). Breakfast as agreed though very limited and probably barely enough for an average person (small egg sandwich and a cup of cold brewed tea). Could do better.

Room was very spacious including the toilet. Simple breakfast were provided and they were ready for consumption early in the morning. There is a small balcony in the room too!

Location is a little far from Hualien Train Station if you are planning to walk with luggage. Room can be brighter with more lights. Unable to flush toilet paper in the toilet. No daily housekeeping and you have to put out your own rubbish if you want them cleared.

The breakfast was a really good sandwich and iced tea, and the staff were nice enough to order it early for us on the day we went to taroko and had to leave before the breakfast time. The room was spacious and relatively clean. The location was 10 minute walk from the train station and 15 minute walk from the center. For the night market we had to take a taxi.

Good hotel near the train station. Room was nicely sized but a bit dark. Came with free sandwich for breakfast that was alright. Would be nice if they just provide a coupon good for some credit at a nearby breakfast restaurant like some of our other hotels in Taiwan offered.

Location close the bus/railway station. Clean spacious rooms. Breakfast comes in the form of a tray of food, in the kitchen area, 24/7 coffee. Restaurants nearby. 20/30 minute walk to downtown, or Taxi for about $3-$4. Friendly efficient check in and check out.
