Easily one of the best hotels I've stayed at in Taiwan in the past month! Excellent value for money! The staff is incredibly friendly and talkative. They care for and feed the stray cats that live nearby, which I appreciate a lot. The lobby is a really nice place to hang out and meet people. There are even free delicious popsicles, tea, coffee and snacks. The room and bathroom were spacious, very clean and comfortable. There are water refill stations on each floor. Laundry facilities available, new and clean machines on the top floor with amazing views. I truly enjoyed my stay here and would 100% come back and recommend! :)

Quite a walking distance from the train station but no problem for getting meal from nearby eateries. This hotel offer complimentary snacks and beverage for in house guest. There is self service laundry facility which is also one of the reason I have chosen this hotel. It is located at the top floor as well, I was enjoying my hot tea with the city view and cool breeze while waiting for my laundry.

The elevator is a bit too small for me, probably just enough fit in 4 pax for safety reason. So I actually have waited a bit while checking out from the hotel, perhaps it is the peak hour of elevator usage.

Located abt 10 mins walk fr the Hua lien Train Station. Though they do not provide breakfast, they provide gd coffee, sof drinks, water, snacks at the reception. There is utensils, basin & microwave available for use. Just next to the htl is a very gd dumpling, bao & fried carrot kueh shop that starts early morning like 6.30am. U can buy & bring to the reception to eat b4 going to the bus station to take early morning bus to Taroko Grouge. Around the corners r plenty of restaurants.

The room is small for triple. They only hve 1xqueen size bed & 1 single bed. So gd to hve even number friends to go along.

the free snacks and coffee throughout the day. the location was perfect. walking distance from the train station. the roof deck has awesome views of both the mountains and the city. free bike if you want to ride around or rent a scooter for a couple hours really cheap.

the bed was not comfortable at all.

The location is about a 10mins walk from the train station. Staff are friendly. Room, relatively small as we have big luggage. A very sustainable hotel I would say. There were mosquitoes in the room but you may get the repellent from the staff. There is washing machine in the hotel and we were not able to use it as it was in use when we needed it. But, there is also a laundry shop next door!

Best to bring your own mosquito repellent.

Water dispenser on the corridor of each floor (with hot water, so no kettle required), washing machine and dryer next to rooftop terrace, very nice and helpful staff, clean an quiet room with nice view, no breakfast but free coffee in the lounge

Location is in the entry lane of the military airport, so lots of military aircrafts approaching for landing (fascinating and very loud at the same time); light bulb in the outer frame of the room's window was turned on in the evening, illuminated the room (blinds could not block out all light) and attracted insects (difficult to open the windows during evening), also kind of antithetical to their pledge to sustainability, since the light was purely decorative

Close to the train station. It is not in the heart of the city (near the water front and night market) but very convenient for us. Great amenities, clean room, nice staff and great price. We had a small window on the park in front. Not too noisy.

Very nice hotel - friendly, knowledgeable staff, great facilities (check out the roof), less than 10 minutes walk from the train station (on a sidewalk, not always a given). The Jura coffee machine helped to start the day. There is also a well stocked game room, if you travel with children.

10/10 would recommend. This hotel is within a walking distance from Hualien Station, friendly staff, clean and comfortable. There is also a really nice lobby where you can get some snacks/soda. It has a terrace with tables where you can chill out and see the town. We went to Taroko and you can also reach the bus station by walking a few minutes. You can't go wrong on booking this hotel, its a safe bet.
