The family -run hostel was very home -like and warm environment, yet private and quiet during our stay. The owners spoke little English and we don't have any Mandarin, but they were friendly and welcoming. We were upgraded to a room with two beds when the owner noted our ages!! The shared bathroom areas and common stairwell and kitchen were kept immaculately clean. There's free tea and coffee and some snacks. We felt comfortable chatting to other travellers in the common area. Excellent location near the station and main road for buses, yet quiet for sleeping. Incredibly good value and highly recommended for budget travel.
Our only problem was that us oldies needed a little more floorspace and furniture for our bags etc. However we appreciated the upgrade to a two- bed room. Thanks to the management for an enjoyable stay.

Wifi is strong, bathroom and toilet is clean. Bed was comfortable. Location is good.

The hostel is relative near to many establishments, such as motorcycle rental and train station. They also have a free WiFi and the staff are accommodating.

The location is pretty unbeatable. Walking distance from the train station.
The shared bathrooms are a little dated and not very clean.
