I can really recommend staying there. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The rooms were amazingly clean and it is only a short walk (~5min) from the train station in Hualien. There are a lot of convenience stores in the surrounding area and some food places as well. Perfect for a stay in Hualien!

Went there during the 0403 earthquake, can say the internal structure was safe and can withstand the quake and shocks, as it only 4 floor high.
The rooftop's advertisement frame need to remove to prevent it from falling off, when we will excavate to the outdoor.

- Staff is friendly and helpful - Bathroom was spotless clean, shampoo and shower gel provided - Each floor has a little fridge and warm water - Ground floor has micro-waves, coffee and tea - Atmosphere is really nice - Easy check-out - 3 minutes from bus and train station

Great location right next to the train station! We were able to keep our bags there before and after check-in. The room was very clean and quiet.
If you’re renting a scooter, it can be hard to find parking nearby!

Great hostel in Hualien! Very comfy beds, quiet and clean room + washroom. No real socializing area - it's more like a hotel but with dorm rooms. It's also right by the bus station - consider whether you want to stay by the station or downtown (closer to the night market).

Location is very near to the Hualien train and bus station. Every bed was provided with power point and room was quite spacey
Bed a little bit hard and thin. No lift to bring your luggage upstairs

Great hostel super close to the bus and train station - staff were really helpful, place had tea and coffee down in the foyer in the mornings, a nice setting.. all great!
