The hotel is just opposite the rail and bus station very convenient for exploring the region and town. Breakfast has a lot of options, very good. They provide a laundry in the basement, what is very handy for travellers . A lot of food options around the hotel. In the bus station you have the visitor information centre, they hand out maps and advice

The staff was overall good but with very limited English that makes the communication a bid difficult. It's hard to find the entrance door, there is no sign, just a big grey metal door that opens automatically if you stand close to it. If you run a chain hotel you would think they advertise themselves.

+ Perfect location, next to the train station. Also good restaurants around + Breakfast was very nice, loads of choice + Clean room + Very comfortable bed, good size for tall people as well + You can borrow bicycles for free (but see negative point as well)

- Bicycles were not in a great condition, hard to ride them (especially in the warm weather). The hotel didn’t have any tool to adjust the seat - Drying machine didn’t work properly, had to go downstairs 4 times in the late evening to throw another coin in and still ended up hanging the clothes all over the room

I stayed in this hotel because of it's great location and quite reasonable price. This hotel is the perfect starting point if you plan to visit Taroko Gorge. The bus station, where you can also buy a day pass for Taroko shuttle is just across the street. Room was big and very clean. The furniture is on the level of a budget hotel, but actually I didn't miss anything. Several sockets were universal so you don't need a plug adapter. I can recommend this hotel for a night or two.

There is not much to do around the hotel. You can walk to the nightmarket, but it takes at least 30 minutes.

Clean rooms, quiet, wonderful breakfast all for US $60.Bathrooms are very nicely laid out with the sink in the middle the shower on one side and the toilet on the other. Breakfast is quite extensive with a good variety of Taiwanese dishes. Beds are firm and comfortable for a double room. You can walk from the train station in 3 mts. Night market is a 30 minute walk or 5 minutes by Taxi for NTD $120.

Location of hotel is right next to the bus station, and 5mins walk from TRA station. Very convenient to stay for a couple of nights as a base location to venture out to Taroko and other sights on the outskirts of Hualian. Note that most day tours will do their pick up from the TRA station, so the walking distance makes it very convenient for day tours pick-up/drop-off. Hualian's city is nearby, and there are several buses at the bus terminal that one can take to bring you to the night market within a 10min ride, challenge is finding your way back from the city area where buses can be infrequent (i.e. impt of staying near the TRA station if u are going to be picked up for day tours!). Note that the public buses in Hualian dont run till too late (11pm or so), so watch out for the time if u r going to the night market. Hotel had a nice initiative where they will help you post a postcard 1 yr after yr stay for free, we are looking fwd to receiving ours in 12 months time. =) Breakfast spread was good and price point was affordable. Highly recommended and will stay again.

Nothing much, but i think the hotel's outfittings (i.e. carpet) was starting to show a bit of age (i.e. a bit worn out)... so perhaps a refresh or reno is needed in a year or 2. Nonethless it doesnt affect the comfort and cleanliness of the place. The staff did a great job maintaining and cleaning the place.

The process for checking in was fast, the room was very clean, beds were done neatly and very comfortable. They have good spread for buffet breakfast. As we needed to check out early on the 3rd day to catch the train, the front desk staff informed and helped us to order take away breakfast during the check in. The hotel is situated within 5 mins walk to the train station, very convenient for people who travel by train.

Very close (5 min walk with luggage) to the Hualien train station! Facility-is clean and comfortable. We have a decent size quad room with 2 king beds. AC worked well. Several shops next door to rent mopeds (need local license). Just a few sweet shops close by. Included breakfast was very good!

Non real restaurants close by but bus and taxi are easy. Fitness room consisted of just 2 machines. Didn’t like the toilet area being “open” (not complete barrier) to the rest of the room.

Convenient location to the train station. Lots of food options within walking distance. Great breakfast options. Good for a short stay.

Bathroom layout was a bit strange. No main door to the bathroom. Luckily we were a family, it might be awkward if you are staying there with others. There was a little bit of mould in the shower.

Clean, super convenient and inexpensive. Hotel is just opposite the bus terminal. Easy to move around the places of interest. Reception was great and recommended places to eat including places that the locals eat. Also notice that they even have rooms that cater to the handicap which is a rare find! The place gives a local Taiwan feel yet modern. Love it! The next time I am back in HuaLien I will book this place again.

The facilities, amenities, and breakfast are all great. The location is also excellent - very close to the main bus terminal and train station but the surroundings are still pretty quiet.

The only thing that is less than ideal was the toilet - the space between it and the wall it faces is rather tight.
