Comfortable bed in a spacious room, easily accessible from rail and bus station, and within easy walk to eateries. Free bikes were great too, easy to bike to the beach and other attractions. Breakfast was pretty good with many choices to suit different tastes. Good to be able to look out the windows and not be in a basement. Nice helpful staff in all areas.

Some hair on the bathroom bench, and stains on the bench and floor looked like they needed to be cleaned off. Very confusing light switches, some didn’t do anything at all, and room poorly lit with all lights on. No laundry service offered even though there are instructions on the laundry bag in the cupboard that says they do.

Staff, particularly the front desk staff and the housekeeping cleaning staff are very good. The room was good size and very clean. Everything worked in the room. One particular front desk lady was really great-she even drove me in the hotel van to the train station when I checked out. The location of the hotel is very good for my long morning walks. I can reach Meilun Riverside in about 5 minutes and from there can go on a great 2 hour walk. Breakfast was Chinese food, and was OK. Coffee very good. This is obviously a well-managed hotel.

The hotel is few blocks from HuaLien Train Station. The room is comfortable for both business as well as vacation trip. The breakfast served at the 2F were mainly oriental dishes, which was very tasteful.

Heavy curtain protects privacy; however, it blocks sunlight during the morning. It would be nice to have another layer of light curtain so that room becomes brighter during the daytime.

The ambience of entrance hall, lobby, elevator, corridor, room, bathroom, restaurant all great. Nice desk/table, comfortable beds, convenient bathroom. All amenities available. Free tea and coffee in the room. Fridge. Wardrobe.

You could hear a bit noise from outside during night as the road is near. Also guests tended to be a bit noisy or it was because I felt stressed on that day. Light switches in the room are a bit confusing. The variety of the breakfast could have been better. Also they provided paper cups instead of porcelain cups.

The location is perfect. Three minutes away from the Hualien bus transit center, which is the departure point for most of the bus tours. 7-11 is right on the corner of the street and many other restaurants are just within walking distance. Front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. Room are bigger than I thought, much better deal than the ones in Taipei. Very satisfied with everything. Hope the lovely place recovers from the earthquake quickly.

The room size was nice and rooms were clean. Bathrooms were in separate room. The room we had, had a very large king size bed. The hotel was clean and attractive. They held our luggage for us when we arrived early and had umbrellas for us to use. It was very close to Hualien train station. Walkable to many restaurants.

The breakfast choices and drinks could have been better. Service at breakfast wasn't as great as we have seen at other hotels. They did not take plates away.

Excellent location within very easy walking distance of the bus & train stations. Hotel was pleasant, spacious & the bedrooms were well equipped with more space than usual.

Very mild complaint. We were visiting Hualien to go to the Taroko Gorge (a common reason for staying in Hualien). I know that hotels aren't substitutes for tourism offices, but I was a little surprised that the hotel had no information about getting there at all.

Good breakfast, comfortable rooms though a little small, walking distance to train station, warm reception. Hotel is very helpful in arranging ahead for reasonably priced private car to Taroko day trips, very prompt in responding to our queries

Rooms a little small

We enjoyed our stay here. Friendly staff, good breakfast options, and spacious, clean, comfortable rooms. The free bike rentals were a highlight for us - nice way to get around Hualien. The hotel is a short walk from the train and bus stations, and near many restaurants and cafes.

There was some mold along the bottom of the shower door, but the rest of the bathroom was quite clean.
