The property was beautiful, the hotel had a rustic and aesthetic feel. The room was so cool and unique, we loved it. The common area was cute and a great place to make some tea and relax a bit. The area was also great, walking distance of some Hualien sights and the essentials (Cosmed, McDonald's, boba shops...). The hosts were also so sweet; we were celebrating my friend's birthday, and they made our stay extra special with a surprise in the room.

Great homestay for Hualien; has everything you need and looking for. The quality of the place is high, with coffee available, cutlery, and a well-designed common space. The location is near a convenience store, within a silent street and within walking distance of the main train station (10-12mins walk). I really liked my room. Big window, and with panels I can open - space is also good for the value.

The hotel is in a cool building with lots of interesting features. The room was nicely decorated, comfortable and the shower in the bathroom was great. The staff were very helpful and gave me lots of tips to help me get around the local area. Nice little touches like free tea!

The only downside was a bit of noise outside the room I was in but I would imagine due to the layout of the hotel that the other rooms would be quieter.

Convenient location near the train stations, many restaurants available nearby. Very friendly staff, free instant noodles, and coffee for breakfast! Clean and comfortable rooms. Perhaps, the views outside are not exceptional, but there are plenty breathtaking sights in Hualien anyway.

Perhaps, the shower cabin could be better organized. Nothing to complain about besides that. Oh, there's no elevator, could be a dealbreaker for some, so keep that in mind!

The communication was not through booking.com, but other local channel, but the worst was that before comeing we were asked to pay in cash, however, when we arrived it was confirmed that we can pay by card. To exchange money costs us time and additional resources. A lot of stairs might cause the problems for people with kids.

Very cool little hotel. The staff was awesome, really helpful. The room was perfect, nice and clean and a great price for just one person. I’d definitely stay there again, nice and close to the train station and easy to get into the main bit of the city. Also has a cool reception area you can chill in and make coffee. Definitely recommend.

Overall the hostel has great potential for a 10/10. Very cool interior design, kind staff, great service and a comfortable bed. You can have as much delicious tea as you like as well as instant noodles against in hungry times during the wee hours. The owner helped us out with questions regarding our trip to Taroko and much more.

The reason why it is more a 7 or 8/10 is the attention to detail regarding the cleanliness. Overall it is clean, but the taps in the bathroom are so calcified that it really left a bad impression on me. That is an issue that should not happen in such a wonderful hostel. Besides, it can be solved with a thorough cleaning with harsh chemicals and regular maintenance.

Fairly close to the Hualien station. I showed up early with my luggage (waited a while as the staff isn't present all the time), but they took the luggage off me so I could take a (long) walk to the beach. I got upgraded to the room on the ground floor due to the weight of the luggage. This is a small Inn (just one Taiwan-style garage-wide house with a couple floors, a common area and rooms. The room had a bare-bones concrete-industrial design, but still had all that's really needed. Located next to several shopping/market streets with lots of shops and restaurants.

Amazing little place. Very friendly staff. Great room and comfortable beds. Very cheap for what you get. Best place we’ve stayed in a while. Make sure to book this one.

The location is a bit in between the train station and the city. But it’s really not that far. Hard to find something to complain about here.

We were able to check in early, and were offered an umbrella when it rained. The location is very close to the station for a trip to taroko, and near a large supermarket and a great breakfast place. There are coffee and snacks in the room downstairs.

The room was a little small and the bathroom walls don't seem to be made to withstand water.
