We LOVED the central location of this hotel, which is super close to Pier 2 and the Love Canal docks. It's ON the Love Canal, so you have a good view of the water from the hotel and easy access to take morning walks along the river front walk right outside the hotel's door. It's also within ~10-min walk of the start of Pier 2 and all of the best parts of renovated Gaoxiong (which is especially excellent to visit on the weekend, when the surrounding Pier 2 parks + the site itself are in full swing, complete with all of the sellers being open and regular outdoor markets). The rooms are sufficiently big and modern. Our porch wasn't particularly inviting (concrete blocks, quite small, and you couldn't see the city from it) but the outside-the-hotel waterfront access made up for that. Similarly, the hotel doesn't have any internal green space (such as a courtyard or something) but you don't really need it with the access to all of the nearby parks and waterfront spaces. There are plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, and other retail right near by. The staff is friendly and helpful. There's a DIY washer + dryer on the 9th floor, and a kids play room on the 3rd floor. Highly recommend taking the ferry to the nearby island and exploring there, as well as visiting Pier 2. The canal boat ride was fun to do at night after sunset.

The gym is small and the equipment is a bit dated. I just worked out outside each day instead on the waterfront, which is great for running, walking, or stationary workouts. There is also a huge 24/7 gym not too far away, if you prefer.

Hotel was conveniently located 7 mins walk from nearest Love Pier light rail station. Family Room with Sea View guest room had gorgeous Love River and sea views. Bathroom was nice too, with both bathtub and standing shower. Basically the guest room with 2 queen beds was super lovely and spacious. Staff were friendly and wonderful too. There was a 24 hours convenience store just 1 min walk from the hotel.

Breakfast spread though had good variety but quality was average. The fried food could have been kept warm in warmer, instead of left out to turn cold on the counter. Wish they had cleaned the guest room windows well so that the lovely views could be seen ever clearer. Everything else was great.

I loved the free afternoon tea snacks (good selection) and the free playground onsite is amazing. They weigh your kid beforehand though to ensure the kid won’t break the moving vehicle toys. The location was also great, next to a 7-11 that sells alcohol with ample seating (including Kavalan whisky with an ice ball). Parking onsite was also free and they reserved a slot for us throughout our stay which was nice! Our room overlooked the Love River so we could also watch the Dragon Boat festival.

If I didn’t ask about the afternoon tea I might not have gotten coupons for it. Also, the room configuration I received was not the same as the hotel photos.

We enjoyed the location of the property, it was close to everything we needed and easy to access. The hotel itself was clean, staff were friendly and helpful and the bed was comfortable.

There were no hooks for hanging towels in the bathroom and the shower was too open which lead to the entire bathroom getting wet when showering. We would’ve preferred a more enclosed shower with more hooks to dry our towels. But we think we may have been given a disabled room instead of a normal one so maybe this played a role.

Nice view, excellent breakfast, good customer service. EXCELLENT BEDDING AND BEDS!!!!! Seriously, the best bedding, blankets and pillows I have ever slept in in my life. Where can I buy those for myself?????

I didn’t like the glass bathroom as it didn’t offer any privacy and also there is a window to the living area so the toilet offers little privacy unless the blinds are pulled down. Also the squid at the buffet did not have much flavour and had a weird texture.

This is the second time I have stayed at Horbour 10 Hotel, and both times were satisfied! Amazing location with a big 7-11 downstairs, and a few eateries nearby, they also have a Starbucks in the lobby. 2/F is the restaurant, provides breakfast and afternoon tea, good if you need a break in the afternoon. Their breakfast selection is what I like the most, international and fresh! The coffee machine is working well. Room size is perfect for couples; STRONG shower pressure.

The location of the hotel next to Love River means you're close to the lightrail that brings you to Pier 2 and beyond. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. The room size is decent, with a nice bed and tv. But without a doubt the star is the bathroom. With a shower, Japanese-style toilet and bath that overlooks Love River. Especially at night the view is stunning. The hotel furthermore has a small indoor cafe and a breakfast restaurant. I didn't try the latter so can't judge this.

Walls are a bit thin so you clearly hear it when it's noisy in the hallway. As the hotel is not very close to a metro station you'll need to walk for a bit or take a bus. There's construction work going on next to the hotel. This means you might get woken earlier then you like by e.g. drilling sounds.

Our stay in Harbour 10 hotel was perfect. The room is spacious, the beds are good, the bathroom was excellent and the breakfast had a lot of choices. It’s just 400 meters of walking to public transport and restaurants and supermarkets are nearby. We could get into our room 1 hour earlier and baggage storage at the end of our stay was possible and well organized.

Nothing, everything was perfect!

The hotel is situated by the river and we had fabulous views from our room and bathroom! The staff were welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable and there was lots of choice at breakfast. The hotel is a bit of a way from the tourist centre, but we got a taxi easily in order to see the Lion and Tiger pagodas. There were loads of good restaurants nearby so finding a nice place for supper was fine.
