This was a good stay in Kaosiung. You could tell it was once a very nice hotel. It's still nice but is showing its age for sure. The beds were comfortable, the staff treated it like a high end hotel with door people and valet, which was nice and the beds were comfortable. The room was large and comfortable. The lounge on the 7th floor and the laundry on the 10th floor were absolutely appreciated and win this place a ton of points. Free drinks, coffee, beer and snacks everyday during a certain period is such a draw. They have different snacks everyday. The laundry is also free which is a bit unheard of in a hotel. The staff were also very professional and friendly.

The hotel is showing its sign of age and could use a refresh. The carpets are fairly grimey. The bathroom has lots of loose ends and had some exposed wires. The 90s yellow is a bit dated. The rooms and hotel were also extremely humid. It was hard for things to dry properly and you always felt a bit damp or sticky. None of these would deter me from staying here, but just know it may not be the luxury stay you are expecting. Overall it was still a very nice stay and I would still recommend it.

Max 5 minute walk from orange line. Self service laundry on floors 8 and 10 included. Loved the lounge on floor 7, easy for families in multiple rooms to gather. Room size was great and beds were large and comfortable. Quiet area. Price was fantastic!

Surrounding area seemed old and run down. Walk from MRT to hotel was very uneven and hard to roll your luggage through. Ceiling was super low. Lots of drunkards at night- maybe there was a party held at one of the hotel facilities.

The hotel location is very close to where we want to go, the room size is very good, and the availability of self parking is a bonus. We were surprised that the hotel even provides free self-serving washers and dryers. The breakfast is also very good, and the staffs are very friendly and helpful. Overall, this hotel has high CP value.

The humidity of the hotel room is too high, and the room is a little bit cranky with two king-size beds. The working desk is too small, and there are not enough power outlets around the desk and bed areas.

Good value for money, great location. The front desk was able to contact a driver for us to hire for eight hours on short notice which was greatly appreciated. They also helped microwave our leftovers. Free laundry available. There was also a VIP room which had cool air-con and Taiwan beer which was light and easy to drink.

The room was quite dusty - windows not cleaned and some fruit flies in the room. The lifts smelt of sewerage and was very smelly.

Perfect location, very close to metro station, walking distance to the harbor region and trendy old town. Nice and comfy bed, Friendly staff. Wonderful and eco-friendly water/snack bar

The interior of the room is so old school, even those out-dated media appliance are still kept in the room. The sound proof is a little concern. I can still hear the noise from nearby temple despite I stayed in the 8th floor.

A very nice hotel in a great location.

We used the free laundry facilities which were great. Unfortunately some of the other guests just leave their washing in the machines and don't return to check on them which makes it very hard for other guests also wanting to use the facilities.

Staff were very attentive, decent location, room was fairly clean. Comfortable room with enough area to put 2 large 23kg luggage. Good value for money.

Breakfast could be better with more variety and selection. Bathroom had a slight smell of cigarettes. Bed was on the smaller side.

Location is very good - near the Pier where all major activities are happenings. Very accessible by MRT. There is a nightly night-snack session which “compensated”for the shortfall of not having a dinner place.

Location was near to airport since I was self drive in Taiwan. It was close to many attractions here, including the night market . Staffs were excellent, maybe is the Taiwan service culture. They even help us to locate the best local food here .

Very nice place to stay. There is a level where family can gather to have free flow of coffee and tea as well as some cookies. The bed is big and nice to sleep. However as we stay over the weekend there isn't much shops open around the area. But since it is near mrt we can travel to other places
