The rooms were very artsy and tastefully decorated. The beds are very comfortable, and the toilet and bath is amply sized, with soft water flowing through the fine showerhead. The space is small but every nook is well used, and I love the fact that there is a common kitchen, a rooftop lounging area, and an elevator for your big bags. The location is very near Pier 2, this the artsy vibe. The price is very reasonable, and I love the fact that you leave your shoes in the lobby area and replace your footwear with slippers. Melody, the housekeeper, was very helpful and communication with her via WhatsApp was super efficient. Value for money all throughout! Very impressive!

I had a lovely stay in Kaohsiung at this BnB, and Melody was an absolutely wonderful host. My room was extremely clean and thoughtfully decorated with beautiful murals throughout. Melody really went above and beyond giving me pointers to local food, attractions, and provided a delicious breakfast. The location is also convenient next to the orange line MRT, the light rail, and the ferry. Without a doubt she made my first visit to Kaohsiung flawless and I would stay here again anytime in a heartbeat.

The wall painting are good spots for photo. I really appreciate the pillows since I got stiff neck from the previous staying. I stay for 3 night, and we went to the beach. There were also laundry that I could clean my clothes. Couple are really nice and helpful, we have nice chats and it really feels like going home.

Too comfort that I would like to stay in the room longer.

Unexpected stay to wait for Krathon typhoon to pass by. Booked 2 nights initially and could extend 2 more to brace for typhoon impact in Kaohsiung. Very welcoming owners, good breakfast for few additional fee, and helped with lunch and laundry during this unexpected stay! Will definitely consider as a good basecamp for my next time in Kaohsiung with hopefully much better weather!

Melody goes above and beyond to make her guests‘ stay as pleasant as possible and provides everything one can imagine needing: from insect repellent at the door for every guest to use to amazing home-made breakfast according to the guests’ wishes (we got chinese vegetarian) and great restaurant recommendations. The house and rooms are spotless and very cosy. The area is a great place to stay and very centrally located near Pier 2 and a metro station. We loved our stay. Thank you, Melody!

The host (Melody) was lovely, it was pristinely clean, and the location was perfect for what we needed. On-street parking was easy and the parking bill (a small ticket that is placed on the windshield) can be easily paid at any convenience store.

It was a bit frustrating that the price dropped by more than half shortly after the two-week "no refund" deadline. We paid TWD 3600 per night, but if we had waited a few days to book, the cost would have been less than half of this. We understand that supply and demand mean that the prices can change, but this was significant.

This was an extremely clean and comfortable place to stay for me and my mom. Melody treated us very well and ensured our whole journey in Kaohsuing was well-informed and cared for. Homestay was also close to many restaurants.

Wasn't much to eat for breakfast, but that's okay - plenty of great options a walk or an Uber away.

A nice home feel with a great host (Melody) who could not have been more friendly and accomodating. She was great. Good location near the subway, Pier 2 art centre and good food options. Nice strong shower and extremely clean. The roof terrace is also very nice for breakfast or a drink.

Room was a bit small and the bed sadly a bit to short (im a little shorter than 1.90).

Loved my stay at Melody's place. Really quiet, beautiful decoration and great location - close to the Arts Center and close enough to the Monkey mountain, a beautiful place for hiking lovers. Melody, the host, was very friendly and gave great recommendations.

Just can say Melody is very helpful and patient to introduce the facilities step by step, also surrounding area. Feel very safe to stay here and easy access to Pier 2 area.

the partition in shower area cannot isolate the water very much that make the bathroom wet. But overall is a happy stay.
