Our stay at the hotel was outstanding and one of the highlights of our trip to Taiwan. The staff were friendly and super helpful. Our room was the absolute best! It was large and had it's own balcony with a gorgeous view of the lake. It was also very quiet. We never heard noise from outside or other rooms. The breakfast was delicious and filling and the driver who dropped us at the bus station when we were leaving was so sweet and nice and really capped off a fantastic trip to the area! We would definitely recommend and stay here again. Thank you so much for everything!

We wish we could have stayed a day or more longer, but the hotel was unsurprisingly booked up.

Very nice and calm hotel surrounded by nature with amazing views. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. It is at a walking distance from the shuishe visitor center area with restaurants and shops, but they also arrange free taxi transfers when you come and leave the hotel. The breakfast was good with a variety of chinese food. The room was spotless. They best thing for us was that they let you borrow their bicycles for free for as long as you wish and the beautiful bike path is right next to the hotel.

Tina, from the reception team was amazing. She made our stay at Bamboo Rock Garden Sun Moon Lake extraordinary. She helped us in all our needs and demands diligently and always with a smile. Moreover she speaks English as native, making the communication super easy. The room was spacious and comfortable with lake facing balcony. It was also quiet with little or no noise from neighboring rooms. The breakfast was excellent also - I stayed for 3 days and the hotel provided different varities of breakfast on all 3 days.

Very little to not like - this is an excellent hotel.

The hotel is a bit out of town, but they provide a free shuttle service on check in and check out if you don't drive. At other times Shuishe is about 20mins pleasant walk away. The receptionist ladies were very nice, and the breakfast was great, with a good variety of options. The views from the terrace and the room were amazing.

Amazing view, the breakfast terrace was very enjoyable, quite a way to start your day, nice service, we were invited to a firefly tour that was great, the kids play area in the lobby was great for our kid. It is really a bamboo garden and I love the pines in front of the terrace. We wish we could stay longer.

The building feels a little worn out. The overall value was still very good, I believe.

Hotel is very comfortable. People who work there are so friendly and helpfull. Nelly helped us a lot. We don't speak Chinese and she offered to call and book a ride to Alishan for us and also a ride to the bus stop. We thank her very much. The hotel offers free bikes and good breakfast. Beautiful view of the lake from the balcony.

I love my hotel room balcony view that faces the bamboo garden and lake view, very quiet and serene, away from the bustling city living of Singapore. The male hotel receptionist (cant remember his name) is super helpful, he help me book the MPV driver Mr Tai, and even get Mr Tai to pick us up from the Shu She Pier Starbuck to the hotel, pick up all our luggages before we travel to QingJIng farm, very thoughtful of them. That save us time to walk back to hotel. Kudos to their good working attitude ! Remember to book Mr Tai, the MPV driver, he is really friendly and helpful, reasonably price, nice car, very knowledgeable about the various tourist spots.

Great location, nice building. Exactly like described. Turned out to be eco organisation which i liked. You can make walks in the direct surrounding. Would have loved to stay longer. They also offer guided (butterfly) walks, which i would have loved to do but i only had one day. Besides, i agree with all other positive reviews already given here by others

Nothing i can think of

a lovely, quiet place to stay when in Sun Moon Lake. the staff were helpful and the room was large and had a lovely view of the lake. it’s a short walk out of the center of town but walking by the water as we made our way back to the accommodation from dinner was a really nice way to end our evening. they allow you to hire bikes for free. there is a a wide variety of food for breakfast. highly recommend.
