No soap available Temperature of the shower water was always very hot and cold. It was difficult to regulate it comfortably The fan in the bathroom was broken and made very loud noises... And it always came on with the light. The owner will probably fix it, but it was already a disturbing factor

Great experience staying at Sun Moon Beauty. Both owners are very friendly and helpful. Especially the male owner, who helped us carry the 25kg luggage to the 3rd floor up and down. The ice cream they sell is superb, and their tofu sticks are very delicious. The location is almost perfect, downstairs is the centre of shops, restaurants and tea houses etc., and it is close to bus stop, visitor center, Ito Thao pier, boat hire shops, a 10 minute walk to the cable car station. The room setup is mixed with traditional and modern style. The place is very clean, and we all have a good sleep. The price is unbelievable. Overall, it is far beyond our expectations. I'll definitely come back here again. And I'll travel light as there is a laundry store 50m away.

The only issue during our stay I have is the bathroom ventilation system. It takes a while to get rid of the bad smell due to the design of wall sharing. Unfortunately, some guests must have been smoking in their toilet and the smell had come to the toilet. My solution was close the toilet door.

Location is superb, market just downstairs, close to the harbor, cable car station and bus stop. Room is very big and spacious. All necessities are catered for. Owner is very friendly and even helped carry my luggage up and down the stairs. The place feels like home. I couldn't have asked for more.

There is no bedside charging point

Location right in the centre of Ita Thao, (but not noisy), close to ferry and easy access to walks. Room was big with large windows. The entrance is through the host's shop selling fried tofu and black tea ice cream.

The lights were very bright which made the room feel cold and sterile. Some warmer light would make it feel more comfortable. A night lamp for reading would also be useful. The beds were comfortable and clean, but the floors were not very clean. The bathroom sink was leaking. But overall it is ok to bed your head during your stay at Sun Moon Lake.

Excellent location and super helpful & friendly host! Our bed was super comfortable and the room was sparkling clean. The waterfront is only a 1 minute walk away. Comparing to other bnb’s in the area, this one wins the prize for the highest CP! Will definitely be back!!! 🤩

Large room and bathroom. Great location on the main street with the food market. Very friendly staff who made us feel very welcome

Parking was away from the accommodation. Managed to get the last spot on our first night...not sure what happens if it's full?

Great. Host is very helpful and help us to carry my luggage to second floor despite that no lift in the house.

Super friendly owner, he was very helpful and kind. The location was good, it was a little older, but it was clean and comfortable, the facilities were good.

the owner is very very friendly. good location as the shop-let underneath have all the foods and convenient store nearby. good lake view just with a 2 minute walk. all the facilities given are working as intended.

the building is accessible by anyone as the main door is not locked but it do have cctv in the area.

The location is very near to Sun Moon Lake boating, Cable car & a lot of shops (Food etc). You can purchase the boating ticket from the host. The host is very friendly.

No lift facilities, have to carry our luggage to the room (5th floor). But the host help to carry one of my luggage.
