Location, very near to the bus stop that connects the pier to everywhere. Lady boss is very good and helpful. The 2 young men manning the front desk could do with better understanding of the know-hows of getting around, and uses of the concession boat ride tickets they are selling (we bought concession tickets only to return because the concession only apply to their own citizens).

Got bitten by mosquito twice! Even in the month of mid march

The location was very convenient, the hotel beautifully designed, rooms very clean, the owner and staff were friendly and helpful.

A lot of time and effort went into making the breakfasts and although we were first there each morning, our food was cold. No safe provided. For all the positives, I think it was overpriced.

My sister recommended staying at this b&b after she did, it was so good. Highly recommend. The room was spacious and clean. They also offer a lot of discounted coupons for ferry tickets, bike rental and attractions around the area. Also loved that they had a coffee machine in the lobby we could use throughout the day. Note there was no "view" from the property but it was a 2 min walk to pier.

The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast. It was not good, not bad on the first day but the sandwiches on the second day was better. In general was not very filling but there isnt much else in the area except 7/11

1) Showerhead fell off while I was in the shower. Easy to pop back on, but it shouldn’t fall off. 2) Steve’s landing and floor are monochromal black/dark gray. When they dim the lights in the lobby for the evening, you can’t see the edges between the landing and the floor. I fell when I thought I was on the floor when I was actually on the landing and missed that last step down . easily solved with lighting or contrast cover on the edges.

Highly recommended this hotel for a stay!!!! Great location with parking directly across the street and the hotel paid for the parking. My room was on the second floor and had a small balcony overlooking the street. There is not a lake view but that did not bother me. Hotel staff walked me to the room to explain the A/C and show the amenities. Four .5 liter bottles of water provided. The room had two comfortable beds and was a good use of the space. The bathroom was excellent with a luxurious shower with separate wand and large overhead shower head. I was there for a cycling event and had a very early checkout which made me miss the provided breakfast. The hotel staff gave an NT 60 voucher to help used at the 7-11 next door. Very nice touch when they didn’t have to do that. Coffee and small candies and crackers provided in the lobby 24 hours.

Lady boss was very hospitable and helpful. Gave us a comprehensive introduction of the lake and relevant activities which enabled us to have a splendid day out. The room was also quiet and comfortable, with a nice toilet / shower. Finally the homemade breakfast was delicious. Discounted tickets for bicycle rental, ferry ride, etc. are available - ask the front desk for more details.

Beautifully appointed rooms which were spacious and very clean. The hotel staff were kind and helpful, assisting us in booking activities in the area. We travelled in a group and enjoyed that we could use the common spaces. Breakfast each morning was delicious and nutritious with fresh tasting ingredients. Overall, amazing value-for-money and a very enjoyable stay! Highly recommended.

The room is clean. For a room for 4pax, the room is spacious, the sink is separated from the toilet and this makes it convenient for us, as we take turns to use the toilet. The hair dryer was powerful. the room has a small balcony with a view towards the public carpark lot opposite. During our stay. the surrounding is quiet and peaceful. there are two 7-11 nearby. the hotel is new and nice. there is very few restaurant available nearby. we were provided with the mosquito repellent vaporiser in the room. Breakfast was a platter with sausage, bread, salad eggs etc, with a coffee machine and yakult available at the ground floor. There is additional seating space on 2nd floor. The hotel makes us feel safe and comfortable for our stay. The lady at the hotel is very friendly.

It is very clean, the rooms are comfortable and very quiet. The air con is really good - it does not make noise. Bed are very comfortable. The lady preparing the breakfast is really friendly, such a sunshine!

The staff at the reception is not friendly - could be due to language barriers - they do not speak English.

Location is great, 2-3 walking minutes from the bus stop 5 minutes to the boat dock. Our room has a balcony which was very cute, black out curtains and not too loud outside. Staff was really nice and helpful.

Sounds of running water are slightly audible but not in a disturbing way. Breakfast was limited to one option
