The location is great. Walkable from the train station and proximate to the ferry port. Nice comfortable beds.

There is no reception area 24/7 but you can actually call them in their number if there is an emergency. The shower heater was not functioning property one night we arrived, and we had to call the number given and a staff went to our room to fix it. Shower has no partition or shower curtains so there is a tendency for water to splash all over the bathroom.

Awesome view, extremely close to the pier and to the food premises (though granted Shuishe pier area is not that big to start). The room was really big; there’s even a sofa in the room apart from the bed. The staff attending to us was extremely helpful, giving us advices on where to go, how to go etc. Also help to facilitate our checkout requirements when we made last minute changes to our itinerary.

Locating it at the start was difficult; it’s tucked at a corner of the building shared with an eatery beside it so we missed it twice while walking through the lane to locate the property. A picture to guide to the property might work. On the steeper end in terms of pricing but I think it’s probably about the same for the properties around sun moon lake. Apart from that, some of the rooms have beds on bed frame and some on the floor (tatami styled). My parents didn’t want the room with the bed on the floor as it was difficult for them to get up. So be sure to check what kind of room you’re getting

Liked the location . Absolutely next to the ferry pier. There are two population centres in this Lake district. Shuishe and itashao. Mine was shuise and the ferry pier was just opp my hotel. Bike shops restaurants and cheap souvenir shops all in thr same road and two 7/11s within 200 metres

The staffs language of English is very poor. There is one lady Mrs wong who no doubt tries a lot to explain using translator.

Great location in the best street in the town. We had room 601 which had a good view of the lake and was spacious. Our hostess was a no nonsense type who communicated through Google translate. She has concession tickets for the ferries and bikes. Everything is nearby, ferry, bike hire, bike trials and restaurants. Don't expect perfection, but the rooms are large, the common area cosy.

Great 👍...I got my knee injured and there was no pharmacy around Sun Moon Lake so they arranged for people to bring me to the pharmacy which is in the town. Thanks a lot and really appreciated it.

The room is super big!!! I love that so much. The room comes with big bed and sofa where you can lay down to chill. The window in the room I got face to Sun Moon Lake which partially block by some buildings but its still good.

The staff is not at the hotel but you can call them. So when we had a problem with coffee machine, it was a lil bit struggle but all good! not a big deal

The location was awesome, friendly staff and huge, bright room, we loved it! There was a nice lounge to sit in with a coffee machine and also a rooftop observatory.

The bed was too hard, but thats just personal preferences, the shower needs a bit of a renovation

Clean and tidy very central room was very clean and tidy beds were comfortable the location was perfect it was right opposite the jetty and close to food outlets

Huge room with a lovely lake view, right in the centre of the Shiushe pier area. Easy to get around, easy to find. Friendly staff

No breakfast facilities and a little hard to find initially. You need to let them know what time you want to check in as it is not manned all the time so when we arrived early we had to leave our cases in another hotel!
