The staff are so friendly and helpful, nothing is a problem. The breakfasts are really delicious and bring on the lakefront if you are not in a lakefront room it’s really easy to have breakfast by the lake. The room was plenty big enough with a comfortable bed and water provided.

The bathroom/shower was the worst in 4 weeks travel of Taiwan, however this is the only B&B we stayed at. The water temperature and pressure was erratic, the water goes all over the floor if you don’t watch carefully which direction you point the shower head, and water came up out of the middle of the floor when the plug was put in the sink. There is a lot of light in the room at night as some windows have no curtains. No real soundproofing as heard dogs barking in the middle of the night, and lots of street noise. Bring earplugs.

Right on the lake so easy to access at any time of day. Close to activities and transport. Provided breakfast was healthy and tasty. Clean and quiet at night Comfortable bed Staff were friendly and tried to be helpful.

Breakfast is only available from 8:30. Too late for some of the activities in my opinion. Use of 7 Eleven vouchers (value &120TWD) is not a great food substitute when checking out early. 7 Eleven at the bus station did not accept my voucher although I had thought I was told all 7Eleven in Shuishe accept the vouchers. Clear communication was a bit difficult at times.

We booked two rooms for our family of 5, a double room with lake view and a family room with lake view which resembles a penthouse at the highest floor. Spacious room at a centralised location right by the port and facing the Sun Moon Lake. Very clean and a bathtub in the toilet overlooking the lake. Breakfasts were homemade and very awesome. The drawings on the boxes were so gorgeous. Portions were generous and we couldn’t finish it! The bread was so delicious. The hosts were very helpful to give advice as well. Just a note to travellers that it’s all stairs and not very conducive for elderly who has mobility issues. Especially the family room is located right at the top, so it’s a climb up five storeys. But the view was all worth it.

The B&B is located directly on the waterfront and boulevard, overlooking the harbour and the beautiful lake. It is in a small street with some nice shops and restaurants on your doorstep. The whole place was spotlessly clean and the room was very comfortable. Parking is available just around the corner (2 min walk) in a large parking lot - when you notify staff of your license plate number once your have parked here they arrange that you can leave and enter for free. The staff is absolutely lovely and super helpful - they also sell reduced price tickets for the ferry, which leaves from right outside the hotel. Warmly recommend this B&B!

Great location, just beside the wharf and only some 200 meters from the main bus station. The view overlooking the lake and the docks with mountains in the background is simply fantastic especially in the morning. I was staying in a room with street view but you can enjoy the scenery whenever you want as the hotel is right on the waterfront. Hot water was abundant during my stay.

Maybe the hotel could have one more chair in the room so we do not have to sit on the bed in our dirty pants lol Aditional widow curtain covering the smaller window would be great so the room wouldn't get so bright in the early hours of the morning.

was in a great location the breakfast box was great with a nice selection of food inside definitely put together with care ❤️ there was also some nice handrawn art and nice comments for the day I had it on the lake frontage as this was a nice place to sit. the owner also offers a discount for bike hires across the street. I would stay here again. The lake view room would have been an excellent choice

This stay was amazing!! The owners were incredible, so friendly and helpful from the outset. The breakfasts were 10/10. The room was a perfect size for a group of 4. The beds were very comfy and the bathroom was great. I would definitely stay here again. The location was also perfect and the view from the room is amazing. Great stay I would 100% recommend staying here.

Nothing everything was great!

The view of the lake from the room was unobstructed and beautiful! The room itself was spacious, modern and clean. The owners were helpful in providing information about the places to visit in the area. They were also accommodating in providing vegetarian breakfast for me. I especially loved the personalized drawings on the breakfast boxes!

The lack of elevator might be an issue for those with mobility issues but we were able to manage with our suitcases just fine using the stairs.

We absolutely loved this place - probably the best place we stayed at in Taiwan so far! We had a room with view on the lake and the view was absolutely breathtaking. There also is a balcony with a table and two chairs, where you can have drinks or eat your breakfast. The room is very large and comfortable. The bathroom is great and the bathtub is awesome. The breakfast was very good as well. Staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful. We can only wish we had stayed one more night!

A/C was a bit loud at night (louder than what we’ve typically experienced in other places before). WiFi was a bit unstable at times.
