It is just one of the best hotels in Sun Moon Lake! When we were planning for this trip, my partner and I were looking for a suitable accomodation which is different from the rest but it has to be strategically located, and we chose Fuli Hot Spring Resort, because it is very near the bus terminal and ultimately it as a huge ass tub in the room which we truly enjoyed!. Just imagine soaking and making love inside.... In terms of activities, we recommend you to cycle ONE BIG ROUND in Sun Moon Lake and please use the electric bike as you will not have enough strength to cycle up the hill. We absolutely cycling the entire Sun Moon Lake and even on the roads, after the cycling path has ended.

Unfortunately we stayed for 2 nights at Sun Moon Lake which might be a night too long, but to be honest there is nothing not to like in this place. But a recommendation for all future travelers heading to Sun Moon Lake, just keep it to 2 days and 1 night and it will be sufficient for you.

We opted for the half board option including dinner & breakfast. Quality is not the best but it is decent with good variety of food. Service from the restaurant was also very thoughtful. Our room came with a private bath which was great to be away from the cold in the public pool.

I don't think the hot spring is really hot spring water, but felt more like just hot tap water. The room bath and toilet was divided by just a curtain, perhaps not so suitable for those who need more privacy in the bath. The room design seemed a lil outdated as well.

There are 2 building attached to this property. We were in the other building which had the games room. The cafe wasnt open so had to go over to the main building for everything but it wasnt an issue. Bed was comfortable with lots of space. Great location. Everything was in walking distance. Bike rental were also great and reasonable priced. The area was quiet overall. Not many places open even though google maps said it was open. It would be really busy in summer season.

The bathroom only had a curtain dividing from the living room. Bit weird but was ok for 2 nights.

This hotel has Japanese language staff and he helped us a lot. The building is old but inside is renovated. The room was spacious and has nice bathroom. When we checked out, they keep our luggage and took us the bus stop when we returned. The driver was also kind and courteous.

You can’t see the view of the Lake from the hotel and there’s few restaurants and shops around it. There’s just one restaurant for buffet in the hotel.It’s difficult to find nice restaurants near here. They call it hot spring (onsen) but actually it’s not real hot spring.

The room was spacious and well furnished. The hot springs bath tub is spacious and can even sit up to 4. There is a pool outside, but it is winter time so we didn't get a chance to swim.

They didn't provide many of the amenities such as tooth brushes or combs as you would find in similarly priced hotels. There are free snacks and drinks in the fridge.

The rooms were amazingly clean . Heated toilet seat. The water from tap is spring water.

The staff at check in when we arrived at 7-8pm on Tuesday evening 18 Feb - the heavily made up girl was rude. She rolled her eyes when I don’t understand her and she had to repeat herself. That is the only thing that spoil my stay.

Luxury hotel. The main perks are the pool with hot water tubs outdoor. Bathtub in the room. Excellent diner and breakfast. Excellent chief of the dining room.

Apparently you can hire Bikes, but only for one route of about 15 minutes pedalling. And, of course, twice as expensive as in the city

First of all, staff were really helpful and friendly, I ask for borrowed an iron machines to my room and it was delivered in there when I back to my room after out for a walk. Room presentation was excellent, hot bathtub is just on the point!! Comfortable and good value of money

Personal hot springs was amazing. The room was spacious and well designed. The food was good. We really enjoyed the on site amenities and activity space for kids.

The temperature wasn't as adjustable as desired. Not enough drawers in the room. Some areas in the bathroom need to be repainted due to moisture levels from the in room hot spring.

I prefer taking the hot spring bath inside the room and the room was very spacious. Not only did I enjoy the bath inside, I could also enjoy the steaming room facility. The room also accommodates a central heating service. Very good!

The breakfast and the dinner were included in the room charge. But the food choice was limited.
