The hotel lobby is a bit old-school, so when checking in was a bit worried over the room, but I can see that they've modernized the room facilities to be a bit Japanese wooden theme. The staff were generally friendly and we purchased some real local souvenirs home too. Location is around 7-10 min walk from the train station (but beware this is the train station, not for high speed rail).

The layout of the double bed is all towards one side of the bed lamps and lamp control panel, so I bet in the past it was meant to be inbetween 2 twin beds. It's not very convenient for guests of 2 that want a double bed to get on or off the bed from only 1 side (the other side is right against a wall, and leaving a lot of room on the far side where a twin bed used to be placed...) That can be better use of the empty space as well, say for a small sofa or chairs + small table. Just some food for thoughts

The bed is very comfortable, a little walk to bus stop and tration station. Convenience store outside.

When we checked in at 3:00pm, it's very noisy because there's something that they're renovating or fixing and the drilling cause headache because of too much noise, luckily were going out for dinner so we left a little early at 4:00pm to avoid stress and headache.

The room is spacious and clean. The location is good, 7-11 is just few walk away. All the local eatery stall are all nearby. It is a walking distance to the famous temple and the wet market. It really worth the stay.

The pillows are to soft and flat. It doesn't give a good support to the neck. Making the sleep not enjoyable

The room 701 was clean enough and spacious enough, with a desk to work at one's laptop, a comfortable bed, a wardrobe with clothes racks and good quality hangers to hang one's suits on. They have a washing and a drying machine at the top floor. The staff is helpful. They provide water, tea, and a boiler. The location is not bad, just 5-6 minutes walking from the train station.

The wifi was not the best.

The Dynasty is a three star hotel located on the busy Chenggong Road, which is about a 6-7 minute walk from the Tainan City Station. There is an RJ Mart (Filipino grocery store) across the road and a 711 on the corner. A short walk towards the train station there are a couple of shopping mall style buildings (Focus & Shin Kong) complete with food courts. The rooms were clean and tidy, which had free WiFi and the television screens were a decent size. There is an old self service laundry area up on the roof which came in handy

The television content is mostly in Mandarin, there are western news channels (BBC, CNN & DV), I could only a french movie channel (no subtitles)

Wonderful reception staff, so friendly, helpful, cheerful and professional, they alone would make me want to return, however the room was olso very good. Great bed, lovely view from the 11th floor, good sized room, nice shower/bath, and of course a Toto Washlet loo. The location was good too, close to the main train station, but also walking distance to the main temples and Confucius Temple, and lots of great Taiwanese good too.

Hmmm, not much, maybe the fact I only had one night here, as two would be much better and in this hotel with the staff, it would be an ideal trip. I guess the only small niggle was some of the paint was in need of repair, but that's about it.

Great Hotel. It’s situated near Tainan train station (8 minutes of walking). The staff is very welcoming, and speaks good English (which was NOT the case when I was in Tapei). The room is sufficiently large, clean, and with a lot of light. A had a good view of the city from my room. I find the price really average for the service served. I do recommend.

The hotel is located within walking distance of the train station, there are also bus stops nearby, as well as important monuments and tourist attractions. The position of the hotel is amazing and very convenient. The hotel staff was very helpful, we even got a room upgrade. The room was beautiful, spacious, clean, well-equipped (we didn't have breakfast booked, but thanks to the room's equipment, we made tea in the morning). Thank you very much for a lovely stay.

Very good hotel to stay. Location is quite good. Short walk from Tainan train station to hotel and close to 7-11. I sleep quite well for 3 nights. The hotel staff are very nice and willing to help. I will choose this hotel for my next trip in Tainan.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. We were upgraded which made the price even more appealing and we were able to extend our stay by one night, after Kong-Rey made our travel plans impossible. The rooms were clean and had all the amenities you would expect at higher prices.
