Great location, walking distance to Chican tower and Great Mazu temple. The hotel itself is not very new, however owners are reinvesting money, so despite some older items rooms are nice, clean and quite, with new items and comfy bed. There is even a water dispenser machine inside the room. Breakfast is at top floor, mostly asian choices. Hotel pesonnel are very kind. They also have a large parking lot, just on the opposite side of street which great in such a busy city.

I do not really like the usual traditional taiwanese bathroom layout, where nothing sperates the the shower area from toilet and basin, so water is all over the floor. Despite they have a large, closed parking lot, which seems safe, someone broke the mirror of my car. This is not the hotel's fault, I think is was caused by another guests who cannot drive/park and hit my miror when parking in reverse :(

The staff are friendly and are available 24/7. The room is big, clean, confortable and very nice. The air conditioner works perfectly, it has a sink with drinkable water and a mini freezer. The bathroom is clean and big enough, I liked it a lot.

The only thing I didn’t like is that the card to enter the room is the same to power up the electricity, so the freezer will shut down, also no electronic device could be left changing while you are out the room. But this is not a major issue really, at least for me.

It was close to everything either on foot or public transport,station just around the corner,lots of food places nearby. The hotel is in a quiet street but under the flight path keep that in mind

Next time I would skip the breakfast,there is really hardly anything on offer unless you like deep-fried stuff and mainly cold. The people at reception need a bid more training, if you ask any question there is hardly any answer or just laughing other then that the hotel is good for a short stay

The room was very big and nice and came with snacks and drinks, great value for the price. The AC also worked amazingly which is pretty rare I feel. The free breakfast was also very good and the staff was very helpful when I asked about ingredients due to allergies. They speak a little English too which was nice!

A bit far from major tourist attractions

The location was fantastic. About 10 min walk from the main station.right in front of the Temple (Buddha and Bao sheng(Tao) temple in one). We got stuck here for 2 days because of the typhoon but made it every day to the wonderful temple. Breakfast was good. Housekeeping would change the towels every day. The reception staff were very helpful guiding us on the trains etc. There are a number of stores or restaurants nearby

Room was big. I'm a solotraveller and i could finally reorganise my backpack without problems due to lack of space.

Breakfast. I'm a EU-citizen and simply not a big fan of Taiwanese hotelbreakfasts. But I saw fellow-travelers eat there with more 'gusto'.

Great place to stay if you are traveling by car as there is a spacious parking place next to the hotel. Clean, comfortable rooms which were really well equipped - water fountain, slippers, etc. There were many food options for breakfast - both taiwanese & western style.

Good coffee and soy milk. Congee is hot , selection is small but food is good.

The street around the hotel is in an angle, hard to follow with the street map.

Although it looks old outwardly but is clean and it comes with simple breakfast which gives us option. Furthermore, there is a mirror on the dresser which is good for my wife. The location is near to the train station also.

No laundry room so we had to travel to do our laundrys

Staff was friendly. Comfortable stay. Was surprised there is a private mini water fountain in the room - love it as it breaks the monotony of usual hotel rooms. Nearby to train and bus stations.

Pillows a bit soft. Would be good to provide an additional set of pillows and shower caps.
