I always stay at the waterfront in Taipei as it’s conveniently located (3min from the Songshan MRT station), I can run and do sports by the Keelung river with its 20km of pedestrian walkway (1min from the hotel) and it’s literally 1 street form Ronghe night market! The rooms are compact but have everything you need, except a wardrobe which can be inconvenient if you’re staying long as there aren’t much space to put away your clothes. The lift was out of service for 3 days during my stay, and the staff went out of their way to help with the situation. They hired people to transport luggage up and down the stairs and every time I walked into the lobby they apologized. They also offered every guests staying pineapple cakes to apologize for the inconvenience. They handled the situation very well considering that there’s only 1 lift in the hotel. The only issue is wifi - it’s really slow even in the lobby - and pretty much non existent in the rooms.

The room is clean n neat. Amenities in the room are in good working condition. Kettle jug n hair dryer are clean n seemed new. The heated toilet bowl seat is a welcoming feature as the surrounding air is cold. Hotel is situated near to Songshan station exits 1 & 2, the popular Raohe night market as well as many nice, affordable eating places. Staff are awesome especially Mr Sean Lee n a couple other female colleagues, who are friendly, attentive n friendly.

There are only 2 knobs to hang yr clothes.

The hotel is in a great location and our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We also appreciated the complimentary coffee and snacks available on the ground floor, where you can buy food from the nearby Raohe Night Market and enjoy it while watching TV. The heated toilet seat and bidet were a nice, modern touch that added to our comfort.

Our room was next to an older building where unpleasant odors from stagnant water on the roof could be smelled inside.

It’s my third stay at this hotel. It is still as good as before. Clean, friendly Staff, and the always-nice view of the river. I’m surprised how well it’s been maintained 5 years later after the pandemic.

2 things I need to mention this time 1) I assumed the staff would change the bedding or sheet after seeing the stains from nose bleed, but they didn’t. So it was there for 3 nights throughout the stay. Nothing to do with eco-friendliness, because it was too obvious it needed to be changed 2) the over night staff had zero training, unlike the day time employees. Why have him there then.

Love the location, it’s within an 5 mins walk to the Rapha St Night market. Location is next to the river and the bike path. Very convenient if you are planning to ride. The rooms were spacious and clean. Simple design and comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Staff were very helpful and patient. They allowed us to pack/assemble/park our bicycles in the open air space with the hotel. Nice river view if you get the ones with balcony. You can see the rainbow bridge.

Nil. Would’ve been nice-to-have if there are more snacks in the lobby.

Great location, just the street next to Rao He Night Market, but not at all noisy. Had a quiet and good quality sleep, morning wake up to great view of kee lung river, enjoyed the winter breeze. Resting area at lobby is good with free coffee / tea / & biscuits. Friendly and helpful staffs. Room is clean with air purifier in room, smart toilet bowl is perfect for cold weather. Coin laundry is available with dryer, travel with clean clothes after several day. 😊

It would be nicer if the room is bigger for a room with balcony.

Love this hotel in Taipei - second time staying here. It’s 3 min from Songshan MRT station. And within 2 min you’re by the river (perfect for a morning run). The rooms are very nice and well appointed. I stayed in 3 different room types and my favorite is the classic queen bed on the 8th floor. Long desk where you can leave your daily stuff and get work done. Great shower and comfy bed. The reception staff is very helpful. Laundry facility on site.

The WiFi is terrible. I could not take work calls like zoom or teams I had to use my hotspot. It’s unfortunate as other wise it is pretty much a perfect hotel.

The location was so good - 5 minute walk from Songshan Station if you are coming from the airport. Raohe Night Market was very close by, so we were able to try various street foods every night. The hotel is opposite the water and local parks/bridges - which is wonderful to do a walk or cycle around. The hotel provides bicycle rentals and also offers free coffee in the common area.

The view is beautiful, I like how the room is being set up, with the balcony, you can get to enjoy the natural breeze of the canal/river. Also the location is pretty good and accessible from MRTs. The staff there were extra helpful and friendly to advise us on the tours and help us make calls to certain tour locations to confirm our bookings and/or enquires.

It is quite a hassle to refill your water as the machine doesn't have enough space to place your water bottle under the water sprout. The staff place a measuring breaker(those use for baking) for the guest to use it... But sadly not all guess know the purpose of the breaker which makes the water sprout area a mess.

All the staff are very friendly. They have the lounge with the well equipped compact kitchen on the first floor and the laundry area on the second and third floor. Also there are clean and very accessible (universal or barrier-free) designed t lobby, corridors and shower booth. It is located along the river, so it is very quiet and you can wake up listening to birdsong. Songshan train station is close, so it is convenient to move around. Additionally, Raohe St. Night Market is nearby, so you can enjoy the night life.

More stools or small chairs and movable small table are needed. Shelves are also required outside the shower booth (in the rest room).
