The hotel is very impressive. Our room on the 19th floor was large, nicely furnished, very comfortable, and with fabulous views over the city and the river. The hotel is a stroll from the Songshan MRT/TRA station, so it's convenient for travelling around Taipei and beyond. In particular it is a breeze to get to Keelung and the other northeastern coastal and old mining areas.

The room was a good size, I can easily lay out 2 medium sized luggages. The laundry room was very convenient to use. Walking distance to Wufenpu Clothes Shopping District and Raohe night market. I had a nice view of the planes landing and taking off from Songshan Airport.

It’s near to Songshan station, easy access to MRT and RaoHe night market. Room are clean and the room service were excellent, they even help to fold our clothes which we left it on our bed. They also have laundry for free.

The hotel doesn’t provide toothbrushes and toothpaste.

Good location as easy for MRT (subway) stop. The room had a great view of 101. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was perfect. The toiletries were great. The breakfast selection was also great with lots of choice. The temperature was spot on and easily controlled through the system.

The room was smaller that we realised and there was no drawer space. As we stayed for five nights we could not put our clothes away so lived out of our suitcases which was not ideal. There were a couple of shelves and a few hangers but it would have been better to have more wardrobe facilities.

Great location just across from SongShan MRT station, very convenient , close proximity to the famous Raohe night market and Wufenpu Shopping district. There is a 24-hour Japanese restaurant which is great if you wanna grab very early or late night meals. The room was well equipped with attention to details, clean, modern and spacious. We also love the interior of the hotel and room. Those lovely furniture definitely set this hotel apart from the rest (of similar class).

I wish there is a bidet (Japanese style toilet) as all of the other hotels we stayed in Taiwan had one.

The room I booked had a stunning view of Taipei 101 and the city skyline. The room was also super super clean and furnished with high quality furniture and material. The room was also very spacious. I love the free to take home flip flops as well as the other room amenities. The lobby was clean, spacious, airy and inspiring with photogenic nook and crannies left right and center. The hotel was also in a nice neighbourhood near to the riverbank and Raohe night market as well as directly in front of Songshan Station. Overall, an unexpectedly pleasant part of town to stay in a high quality hotel.

Minus one mark for the toilet situation. As there is a huge gap above the glass door and the ceiling to the toilet, be prepared to get intimate with the smell of anyone that is staying with you, including the smell of your own excretion to permeate and linger in the room for a while. I would also appreciate it if they could have a manual or automated Japanese bidet toilet. I would say that is the biggest downfall of the room I stayed in.

1. Room is spacious; bed is comfortable; plugs are smart so no adaptor is required. Clean and well-equipped + designed. 2. Rooms are spread between 18-20 floors making the elevators very efficient. Almost zero waiting time throughout the day. 3. Comes with laundry room and water cooler and microwave 4. Location is right next to a connected mall, train station and one of the best night markets in Taipei 5. Lobby is beautiful and welcoming with a nice too view of Taipei 101

Staff is generally ok but not the warmest that you’d expect of Taiwanese hospitality.

Stayed a night at Amba Songshan. The location is fantastic, within walking distance (directly connected using the hotel link bridge) to the subway station and also the Raohe Night Market. The hotel's design is very hip, cool and chic. Love it to every details of it. It was fun and functional. My room was spacious with one area dedicated to sleeping and lounging, and the other area were the shower room, WC and vanity. The Shower Room and WC has a separate door which is highly functional. Love the hotel in every way!

Best location for travelling by Train, MRT and explore for good food in the east area. The room come with free capsule coffee, nice slipper, spacious, comfy bed, splendid river view with SongShan airport under the large window view. I travel with old secondary school classmates and highly recommended them to stay in this hotel which I stayed for a few times pre-covid. The room is so spacious that 6 of us could gather together to talk cock sing song till late nights. We can get food, chips, puff from the nearby Family mart. Hotel lobby has table soccers, table tennis, brought back some old days with fun. Daily breakfast is wide spread and we usually stay for a few hours enjoying the view and chit chat freely. My friend wash / dry their dirty clothes at the laundry free of charge and was very surprised that the hotel provide such a great services to the guest during our stays. We all agreed that it is a great hotel stay, a wonderful times together and will certainly return to stay again.

Lower the price ..... perhaps? hahaha... I have no idea why it takes so long to refund the deposits. Paid on 28 September, 30 September, and 3 October for our returning trips subsequently due to typhoon in southern TW. Until now 16 Oct, still not yet credited. I admired WeChat, Alipay refund process in China which takes less than a day for us to get the refund. So please, AMBA, Booking.com got to improve on refund process....it is taking way too long. Kindly reply my email request enquiry on this matter. Thanks.

The breakfast is good and many variety foods were provided. The hotel is very clean and the bed is so comfy. I like the laundry room that we can do the washing. It is a very nice place to stay.

I always get lost as we book 3 different rooms and it seems the direction sign is not clear enough to find the room easily.
