The hotel is very impressive. Our room on the 19th floor was large, nicely furnished, very comfortable, and with fabulous views over the city and the river. The hotel is a stroll from the Songshan MRT/TRA station, so it's convenient for travelling around Taipei and beyond. In particular it is a breeze to get to Keelung and the other northeastern coastal and old mining areas.

We stayed in Room 2122 and we had a lovely view of Taipei 101. Room was spacious. Had a hairdryer. Open wardrobe area. Tea and coffee. Separate shower and toilet. We didn’t use the gym or dine at the restaurant. The service was friendly and helpful. Good value for money. Quiet area. Not much foot or road traffic in the area. Easy to call Uber to head out to where you want to go or take the metro from the station opposite. There’s a cafe on the ground level as you enter the building and a Family Mart across the road. The night market at Raohe Street is within walking distance.

You’ll need to take the lift to 17/f and then change to another lift to get to your floor.

The room was a good size, I can easily lay out 2 medium sized luggages. The laundry room was very convenient to use. Walking distance to Wufenpu Clothes Shopping District and Raohe night market. I had a nice view of the planes landing and taking off from Songshan Airport.

2. I have conducted research on Amba Taipei especially viewing the YouTube, reading reviews on many website I decided to book this hotel in booking.com. I was highly impressed with its clean and comfortable rooms and additional facilities. The laundry room was top notch clean and you have all the necessities for your laundry, dryer was excellent too. 3. The secure and safe environment of this hotel and the best hotel that is close to the shopping centre and the train station. This will be part of our family hotel to stay in whenever we visit Taiwan again.

The signage for the shuttle bus was not visible and the reception should have told all their hotel guests when they checked in.

Good location as easy for MRT (subway) stop. The room had a great view of 101. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was perfect. The toiletries were great. The breakfast selection was also great with lots of choice. The temperature was spot on and easily controlled through the system.

The room was smaller that we realised and there was no drawer space. As we stayed for five nights we could not put our clothes away so lived out of our suitcases which was not ideal. There were a couple of shelves and a few hangers but it would have been better to have more wardrobe facilities.

It’s near to Songshan station, easy access to MRT and RaoHe night market. Room are clean and the room service were excellent, they even help to fold our clothes which we left it on our bed. They also have laundry for free.

The hotel doesn’t provide toothbrushes and toothpaste.

Great location just across from SongShan MRT station, very convenient , close proximity to the famous Raohe night market and Wufenpu Shopping district. There is a 24-hour Japanese restaurant which is great if you wanna grab very early or late night meals. The room was well equipped with attention to details, clean, modern and spacious. We also love the interior of the hotel and room. Those lovely furniture definitely set this hotel apart from the rest (of similar class).

I wish there is a bidet (Japanese style toilet) as all of the other hotels we stayed in Taiwan had one.

The room I booked had a stunning view of Taipei 101 and the city skyline. The room was also super super clean and furnished with high quality furniture and material. The room was also very spacious. I love the free to take home flip flops as well as the other room amenities. The lobby was clean, spacious, airy and inspiring with photogenic nook and crannies left right and center. The hotel was also in a nice neighbourhood near to the riverbank and Raohe night market as well as directly in front of Songshan Station. Overall, an unexpectedly pleasant part of town to stay in a high quality hotel.

Minus one mark for the toilet situation. As there is a huge gap above the glass door and the ceiling to the toilet, be prepared to get intimate with the smell of anyone that is staying with you, including the smell of your own excretion to permeate and linger in the room for a while. I would also appreciate it if they could have a manual or automated Japanese bidet toilet. I would say that is the biggest downfall of the room I stayed in.

1. Room is spacious; bed is comfortable; plugs are smart so no adaptor is required. Clean and well-equipped + designed. 2. Rooms are spread between 18-20 floors making the elevators very efficient. Almost zero waiting time throughout the day. 3. Comes with laundry room and water cooler and microwave 4. Location is right next to a connected mall, train station and one of the best night markets in Taipei 5. Lobby is beautiful and welcoming with a nice too view of Taipei 101

Staff is generally ok but not the warmest that you’d expect of Taiwanese hospitality.

Stayed a night at Amba Songshan. The location is fantastic, within walking distance (directly connected using the hotel link bridge) to the subway station and also the Raohe Night Market. The hotel's design is very hip, cool and chic. Love it to every details of it. It was fun and functional. My room was spacious with one area dedicated to sleeping and lounging, and the other area were the shower room, WC and vanity. The Shower Room and WC has a separate door which is highly functional. Love the hotel in every way!
