Great location! Very clean and spacious room with lots of amenities. Great view looking out onto the city. Nice swimming pool, gym facilities are great with steam sauna and jacuzzi. Breakfast buffet delicious, croissants are best! Staff are absolutely amazing! They were always so kind and prompt replying to my questions and requests. They really try their best to make the guests feel comfortable and worry-free. Thank you for a wonderful time!

The line for the breakfast buffet would get quite long sometimes and indoor seating was not available depending on when we went down to eat. We didn’t mind because sitting poolside had a nice ambiance, but it can get humid. A little more variety in food selection would be nice.

⸻ 5-Star Stay at W Taipei – Exceptional Service and Personal Touches My husband and I stayed at W Taipei from June 18 to 21, 2025, and it was truly one of the most memorable hotel experiences we’ve had. What stood out the most was the outstanding service from the concierge team, especially Mr. Jason Yu. From the moment we asked for recommendations on restaurants and places to visit as a couple, Jason went above and beyond. He took time to curate a list that matched our preferences and even printed it out and had it personally delivered to our room—a thoughtful surprise we truly appreciated. He even followed through by walking us to the elevator and making sure our taxi was arranged, always attentive and genuinely kind. To our delight, the next day, Jason prepared another personalized list for us—again printed and delivered with care. On the day of our departure, he even handed us a sweet handwritten letter along with a local treat from Dihua Street, which was such a heartfelt gesture. It’s rare to experience this level of personalized hospitality, and Jason made us feel like VIP guests throughout our stay. The entire concierge team deserves praise. Chris helped us with reservations at Saffron 46 and other brunch spots, while Joshua was consistently courteous, assisting us with taxis and directions with a friendly smile. Aside from the exceptional service, the hotel itself was immaculate—modern, clean, and very relaxing. We especially loved the onsen-style hot jacuzzi, which became our favorite way to unwind after a full day of exploring Taipei. Location-wise, W Taipei is unbeatable. It’s right next to the MRT station connected to the airport train, surrounded by several upscale malls and food spots. We didn’t need to go far to enjoy Taipei’s best shopping and dining. It was our first time staying at W Taipei despite visiting the city several times before—and we’re so glad we chose it this time. Thank you for a perfect stay. We will definitely be back!

In most of Taiwan hotel staff are quite cold whereas at the W Taipei, all the staff were incredibly friendly and outgoing, and gave me tips and advice and asked me questions unprompted. From the doorman to the check-in counter to the bartenders to the pool staff, everyone was all smiles which really made a big difference. I would also say that this property is ideal for someone that wants the perfect balance of grand luxury but also colorful fun.

Location is great for those who likes to shop. It is located next to several department stores and not far from Taipei 101. Very close Subway Station. Staffs were very helpful. The hotel room is also large enough for a family of 3. Breakfast is great. Many choice and good taste in our opinion.

To access to the room, you are to connect 2 elevators. We found it troublesome to go back to the room. And there is a partition between the bedroom and toilet, there is an open space that can not be closed and we can see the toilet from the bed. At night, the light and noise from the toilet could wake up someone in the bedroom.

Location is good as it has easy access to plenty of shopping centres and Eslite bookstore is just next to it (closing in Dec 2023). The staff is polite and efficient. The room we booked is clean and spacious with a nice city view. The swimming pool is great for the family as they had lots of fun there. Breakfast is also good as they offer a wide range with plenty of choices to choose from. The fruit juice bar is great as the juice is freshly prepared upon request.

Unlike most of the hotels we stayed in, snacks in the room are not complimentary, you have to pay for it except the bottled water.

As usual the W Brand lived up to its expectation. Room was spacious and clean. Location is convenient and close to the iconic 101. I would also like to reserve a special thanks to Emily (I believe) and the team who handled my tight situation when I had accidentally left my mobile on the cab on the way to the airport. When I realized I quickly rang back W to see if they could assist in anyway to contact the taxi company as I have no recollection of the number plate of the taxi. They managed to recover the footage of the taxi when I boarded at the Hotel and contacted the company/driver who then confirmed the mobile was still there and made the trip back to the airport to return it back to me (all within about an hour). During this time they team were very patient and reassuring etc. Kudos to them all :)

Breakfast had a lot of options and the setting was excellent. Our room was very comfortable, excellently furnished with comfortable beds and an amazing toilet! The location was very central and the metro and bus stops were very close by. The room service was excellent and they took good care of health allergies by explaining the contents of each meal clearly.

Very sweet and nice service. They gave us a delicious birthday cake and a cute birthday card when I told them we are celebrating my girlfriend’s birthday. We didn’t prepare a lighter but they even came to our room to light the candle for us.

One minor drawback is that swimming pool might be crowded in the afternoon. It took us some time to find an empty space to put our towels and stuffs because all recliners had been taken.

The pool was fantastic! The location was great!

Need more drawers for the room. It would be great to have a door for the shower.

This is a great hotel, not a stuffy feel with fantastic amenities and good location. The staff were amazing, we kept running into the wonderful hotel manager who was great to talk to. The room was so well appointed, separate toilet always welcome.
