I stayed in multiple hotels in Taipei. This is the one. Great bed, good-quality sheets, comfortable pillows, high ceilings, nice tub, nice shower. I loved the room. It had all the niceties (switches near the bed to open/close blinds) while also taking care of the basics. Compliemntary mini bar and snacks. Lovely views of the park and Taipei 101. If you're considering the Grand Hyatt, choose this hotel instead (unless you want the pool).

The hotel breakfast is fine, but it's nowhere near the spreads I've experienced elsewhere in Taipei and Taiwan. The Grand Hyatt Club Level has a more comprehensive breakfast (and the Grand Hyatt paid breakfast is _much_ better), but the restaurant in the Eslite Hotel is a much nicer setting with better service. The tub was a little smaller than I hoped. I'm very tall, so this is essentially me trying to find something wrong with the room.

Hotel is very well maintained since it’s our first visit after covid 19.

Sad to say we were disappointed with the breakfast as it was very basic and plain , not what we had before the pandemic which then had a wide variety of western cum local selections , which we always enjoyed and looked forward to. I would not consider including breakfast in our next visits . It can be better . Thank you

The staff was very accommodating and professional, paid attention to detail: when I booked a taxi to the airport, they looked up the flight time and terminal number. The breakfast was quite good, high quality but a bit limited range. Lots of books and magazines to browse (the hotel was established by a bookstore chain), and the 24-hour bookstore is next door. There is a balcony you can go outside (it's not just a glass window).

The lights in the bedside console are a bit confusing. During our stay, the Songshan Park side entrance/walkway was closed for renovation, so it was a bit inconvenient to have to enter only from the northside of the hotel.

View, attention to detail, space, location. It was nice that when turning on the tv, it has a welcome msg with my name The view to taipei 101, which i requested, was very very nice The balcony is big and comfortable The room is very big and comfortable I also requested high floor and i got top floor, i also requested baby utensils like disinfectant machine, baby shampoo and shower gel, and everything was provided as i requested.

Unfortunately the hotel dont have amenities like swimming pool or kids play area, which is a big consideration when you travel with family, but to compensate they have nice shopping mall inside, also the creative park is just behind it and the stadium is also 2 mins walking distance.

Great location, walking distance to MRT and easy access to eating place inside the Taipei dome. Great view of Taipei 101 from the room. Fantastic sized rooms and luxurious bathroom with warm toilet seats for the winter and automated toilet seat covers. Wide selection of books on the shelves in the lobby for reading and also available for loan to read in the comfort of your room. Housekeeping was prompt each morning.

Breakfast was a small buffet selection and a separate ala carte order. Ala carte choices were rather limited. Not a deal breaker though.

We love Eslite - the bookshop - and we had long wanted to stay at the hotel due to its location in the Songshan Cultural Centre and we were not disappointed. The heritage building next door houses lovely little shops and cultural events and the thoughtfully maintained wetland park is also a welcome respite from the busyness of Taipei. The rooms are well appointed with nice toiletries: the free water and minibar were appreciated. Staff were friendly and always helpful.

Too many things I liked about it! Excellent view with an accessible balcony facing 101 and Taipei Dome, considerate and convenient facilities and quality supplies such as bath salts, electronic drapes which kept the light out totally, friendly and professional staff, plentiful supply of water, pleasant surrounding area, many cafes and restaurants nearby.

A bit far from the subway station, 8-10 minutes walk. May consider providing an iron in the room. The congee and coffee provided in the breakfast can be a bit hotter.

We were pleasantly surprised when the receptionist told us that we were upgraded to bigger rooms for free. The rooms were spacious, stylish and very comfortable. My favourite would be the bose speaker system that allows you to enjoy music while you are in the living area, the bed area or even in the tub. The location is great with nice greenery and the arts market just next to it.

Nothing much to criticise here. Service was great, only wished there was a bit more variety in the daily breakfast menu as it was the same every day. But still good quality!

Its furnishing is understated and comfortable. It is close to a shopping mall and a historic location (an early last century cigarette factory). Very convenient and just a lovely stay. The staff is friendly yet professional. The breakfast is tasty. Can check out books to read in my room and there is always fresh fruits welcoming me back each day. They are generous with the bottled water. The place is very clean. I would go there again!

It is a bit on the pricey side. But I guess it is unavoidable with the surrounding, furnishing, and supplies. I will work harder so that I can go again, haha

Hotel is very nice, great area and next to a small park which is very relaxing. Rooms are good and you are next to a 24hr book store and a department store.

We both thought the breakfast was poor especially for the standard of the hotel. Poor selection both on the menu and buffet. Coffee machine was poor and drinks not that hot. Service poor and even if you order the same breakfast meal it does not always come at the same time. The toaster machine you have to put the toast through a minimum of 3 times. Poor!
