This hotel is amazing - best on our trip to Asia at this price category. The unique decor makes it interesting and lot of trees and bird noises make it feel like one is in nature, despite being in the middle of city. Hotel is modern, clean, rooms are spacious, attention to detail is very appreciated. Breakfast was also good - good choice and good balance of asian vs western cuisine. Everythint fresh, tasty and staff in the hotel was friendly and attentive. There are free tea, coffee, soft drinks. We absolutely would like to stay in this hotel again. Location is good - close to many shops and restaurant, temples and mainly MRT Taipei Arena. Yet, very quiet and beds are comfy.

Other hotels we stayed also had 5 o’clock tea with snacks and fresh fruit - it would have been nice to have something like that too - but this is only as suggestion from what we saw elsewhere. This hotel was still tops!

The bed was very comfortable, and the room and hotel in general, was very clean, modern and well decorated. For Taiwan, the breakfast was very good. No alternative milk options (not even soy milk), but the coffee was good and there was a reasonable selection of foods for breakfast.

The room was slightly on the small side and it would have been amazing to have more vegan options at breakfast, at least an alternative milk option. There’s no bar or restaurant that serves past breakfast, so if arriving late, be prepared to venture out for food.

Great hotel located in a buzzy central neighborhood with lots of great food options around. Terrific artisan coffee 30s away and a 24/7 shop across the street. Service was really good, the rooms we had great views and were pristine. Personal taste conderations aside, the deco is quite funky and custom made and is something to be appreciated in its own way. Hotel does not come across as generic and soulless.

Despite having a very enjoyable terrace the hotel has no bar. You simply cannot get any drink from the hotel itself after a long day out.

The arTree hotel is probably the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in. We booked a deluxe room and it felt so luxurious. It had a big king bed, a seating area with a loveseat, chair and table, desk countertop area, a bathroom with two sinks, a big bathtub and shower that was separate from the tub. The fridge was stocked with a few complimentary drinks, beer and snacks. It was so wonderful. The staff was also very kind and spoke Mandarin Chinese and English to us and bowed to us after she walked us to the elevator -- so kind and thoughful. The lighting and architecture in the lobby, common areas and elevators are outstanding. Each elevator has different ceiling lights and a tree sculpture wrapping up to the ceiling. The attention to detail in bringing a tree-themed hotel to life was incredible.

When you walk into the building there's no hotel staff in the entryway, so you have to take an elevator to the lobby floor and sometimes take a separate elevator to the floor with the hotel rooms -- this isn't a big deal but something to note. Also the location didn't bother us, but it's worth noting this hotel isn't really in the middle of a bustling area. There is a 7-11 right across the street which is super convenient, but you have to walk several minutes to get to places if you're going out in Taipei from the hotel. It took us about 20 minutes to walk to certain bars/restaurants we were interested in from the hotel. The hotel also isn't very close to an MRT stop, so we had to walk about 7-8 minutes to get to the closest station.

I found the hotel deco and theme to be really unique, my partner and I enjoyed the visual effort put into creating the ambience. We didn't know what to expect from the photos online but it ended up exceeding our expectations.The check in and check out process was really smooth and all the staff were super friendly and helpful. I think for what we paid for, we got great value out of it.

There were some afternoons where we had the do not disturb sign on, and would briefly step out for a smoke, without locking away our valuables in the room and will come back to a room that had been cleaned, or sheets changed by housekeeping. Or they would still knock and we'd have to insist that we didn't want housekeeping for the day. I know they were well intentioned, but it would have been nice to have more privacy.

spacious room which come with sofa seats and bath tub, in addition to separate shower area and toilet. It is near to Taipei Arena, convenient for me attending a 3-day concert there. Few good eating places nearby too. Breakfast was good, though lack in variety but food was good , especially the salad bar which has a good spread of veges and nuts which change daily.

Not much shopping places nearby except for a weekend market which serve the local residents

The location was perfect for my needs and the room was very quiet and comfortable. The open bathroom did require some getting used to. The breakfast suited my needs as I liked the bread very much. The service was impeccable! I particularly loved the lounge with the free drinks. The 'tree' motif was very unique and relaxing.

The breakfast selection was a bit small and some of the items were a bit cold (particularly the hash browns and the roasted potatoes.)

The staff were always friendly and did their utmost to keep the customers happy. The breakfast included Chinese and Western cuisine. There is a parking available , which is why it was the main reason I booked the hotel and for its convenient location. We had a severe earthquake and the staff called up every room within a few minutes to check if everything was ok and gave further instructions and updates to keep all customers safe. My whole family appreciated it very much and we felt that we were in good hands.

Nothing negative.

This is one of the most unique and great hotels I have stayed at in Taipei. VERY roomy, the tub was fabulous for a bath salt soak after a work day. The breakfast was wonderful and the staff especially during the breakfast were FIRST CLASS and it was worth every moment being at arTree.

Super clean and modern,well use of space,very comfortable beds,water provided,free snack and soft drink at reception although did not mention to us while waiting for check in from 6:30am to finally got in 2:30pm .good spreader shower and toilet,clean thick towels.comfortable desk chair and sofas.convenient location with lots restaurants although not high end.right next to food court and market with plenty of fruits.other services great.very quiet level ten.

Although mentioned check in at 4pm,did not try much allow early check in,waited eight hours just got in at 2:30 after bugging many times,have to pay one more day at 7:30am after long flight,said may ready at one,then at one said if pay 3000 Taiwan can get in or keep waiting which was 2:30 pm,another couple same thing.breakfast pretty costly for that kind,but nice to have freezing cold in restaurant with aircon in Feb.lighting in seating area dark.
