When I was planning, I spent a great amount of time browsing and Google-street-viewing many other hotels in Taipei. Simple+ Hotel's strikes a great balance in terms of price, location, and room comfort. It's not located in a the middle of a crowded area, but it's also not too far from other main facilities. Just 5-10 mins walk from the Nanjing-Fuxing Station. Convenient access to other major areas. Room layout is simple with a balcony facing the main street, so there's an openness feel to it. Breakfast is superb! Don't miss it. They have great selections of dishes. Helpful and attentive staff.

Nothing, I'd love to stay here again next time.

The hotel is simple but still has some great highlights: 1. The room felt spacious and nice. The bathtub was fantastic! Also, the bed was huge and very comfortable. 2. The staff were very nice, especially the breakfast staff but also the reception. Everyone was nice and friendly. 3. We liked the hotel's location, though we mainly used taxis to get by. 4. The free laundry machines were useful for us. Also, the gym and the massage chairs were great.

1. Breakfast was quite average, to say the least. While the staff were very nice, we didn't have much to eat and despite staying for almost a week the variety was very low and the food was mostly the same every day. 2. The music played at the hotel's lobby and breakfast can actually get quite annoying really fast. I recommend changing the playlist :) It might be a small issue but it bothered us a bit.

Comfortable layout among similar hotel in Taipei, and the wooden decor made the room simple but cozy. Great bed, great sound proving and modern facility in the bathroom. Market, convenient store , yummy restaurant nearby and made it a convenient location. Even the bakery shop opposite got good snacks too! Very good accommodation for travel/trip.

Not really something i don't like but the balcony could be quite near to your neighbor opposite which could be embarrassed. However, it did made the room much bigger!

The staffs are friendly and are always ready to help you. The room size is small but the spacing is sufficient for 2 persons to move around. Not near to tourist attraction but the hotel is between 2 MRT stations, one which is 5mins walking distance and another is about 15mins walking distance. It is also near to a night market street where you can get food and drinks.

It's a simple but good hotel. The room was fine, with a nice bed, balcony and good shower. The breakfast was varied enough while mostly asian it also had good western options. The free washing room was great and a welcome option on a long trip. The hotel is close to two subway lines and a bus stop with many food options close by. But is still in a quiet street. They also have a rooftop terras and a small gym. All in all I had a nice stay.

The room is starting to show it's age. The curtains need to be buttoned up to fully close, but the buttons were worn out. Also the carpet feels a bit grimy, but that is age not cleanliness. Finally the price is a bit high for a room compared to the age.

Good city hotel located in a side street - so its comparable quiet. Metro station is nearby within walking distance. also several bus stations. So its easy to get around in Taipei if you are located in this hotel. Reasonable breakfast is available - but of course not comparable to the huge buffets one can see at 5* hotels. There is even a coin laundry available in the hotel.

All OK. No big dissatisfiers. As to be expected in a City hotel - the room was quite small. But it had a balcony which gives a nice impression.

The Simple+ hotel is great value for money! The room was nice and tidy, breakfast was wonderful with various options of food (western and Asian). The free laundry facilities was just awesome with laundry baskets, laundry powder and everything you need. Every staff member of the hotel we came into contact with was very polite and helpful. Location was great and close to an MRT station. The lobby was super friendly, it has computers and drinks (hot and cold coffee, tea....) 24 hours! We arrived earlier than the check in time and were allowed to check in earlier. Simple+ will be our first choice of accommodation if we visit Taipei again.

There isn't really anything I don't like about Simple+, the only very minor thing I can pick on is that they do not have sweetener for coffee. But since I always carry some, so there isn't any issue.

The staff were exceptional! So helpful and always friendly. I stayed here for 9 nights, originally I had the smallest room booked and quickly realised it would be too small for me, fortunately there was a bigger room available so I could upgrade (paid).

The very small room has a tiny, single width wardrobe as the only storage, ok if you're only staying a few nights.

The hotel is close to the metro and city center. A bike rental station is across the street crossing.

The room was a little bit old. The windows have been very dirty and the air conditioning sound from the neighbor building was annoying. According to the description the use of laundry machines is for free. They changed it so that you have to pay for it one day prior our arrival.

-Great location (2-3 metro stops to the city centre and main railway station) plus a quick 5min cab ride to Taipei 101 - 3-4 min walk to the local metro station (Nanjing Fuxing) - Good expat bar nearby (Brass Monkey) with different events throughout the week - Great lunch options literally across the street - Breakfast was good with a decent variety - Free laundry options and massage chairs whilst you wait (would help if there was a translation of the WM buttons ) -Staff are very friendly and welcoming -Bed was very comfy

- Room is a bit small - Limited cupboard space (1 rack & 4-5 coat hangers) - Gym is just 1 room with a running machine, free weights and a mat The negatives were minor in all honesty
