Good location for exploring Taipei

The overall impression is that it’s very chaotic. Staffs seem very busy. The overall management of the hotel could be better.

Too many people for Breakfast, too busy.

The hotel is great. It is in a brilliant location next to Taipei 101 and a metro station and in a really lively spot when you walk out in the evening. The lobby is visually stunning! The rooms are a decent size and very comfortable to spend time in, and the bathroom is a decent size and well stocked. The facilities are great - we mainly used the gym, but the pool was lovely and the spa looked great if only we had had the time! Breakfast was great. The staff we encountered were all lovely. My husband requires gluten free food and the hotel had plenty available. Plus the bar (which was very nice) served corona beer which he can drink, so that made the end of the day a very pleasant experience too.

It is an enormous hotel so there were times when there were just a lot of people checking in and using the facilities. This meant that occasionally there were gaps in the breakfast offering. Never to the point where it was an issue though! Also, we stayed for a week and only had our sheets changed once, plus no evening turn down service. Not essential obviously but in a hotel of this class we were surprised by that. Finally, we like to swim and the pool was great, but more for a dip than a proper swim. Not a complaint - just an observation.

Location, location, location. It's right across street from Taipei 101, which has shopping and restaurants galore. I was given a corner King size unit with seperate sitting area and Taipei 101 view. It's very spacious. The breakfast and dinners were both excellent. The most important thing is that due to its international clientele, it has an ATM connected with PLUS system so I could withdraw local currency with my US debit card. The staff was courtious. I left my debit card inside the ATM one day. They called the bank that owns the ATM and I got my card back by day-end.

They price was on the high side.

Grand Hyatt keeps to its exacting standards in properties, offerings, and services whether in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur or Taipei. The GH Taipei staff were very helpful. Excellent.

Too long to check in even at the World of Hyatt. The option to wait with a welcome drink would be nice (instead of having to stand in the queue after a long day and delayed flight).

The environment was clean and tidy, and the staff were attentive and professional. The only downside was the hairdryer. For a five-star hotel, the hairdryer provided seemed to fall short of the hotel’s overall quality. The one in our room was a traditional type with weak airflow and loud noise, making it very uncomfortable to use as it took a long time to dry our hair.

your breakfast is a bit under par as a european the eggs are pre cooked and cold i would suggest cooking eggs in the morning to order there is nothing worse than cold eggs and bacon in the morning

Location. Its the best located hotel in Taipei

Showing its age. Room is small, ceilings low. Bed too soft, pillows are not 5star quality. Room is crowded with a semi-modern look that makes it look cheap for such a “grand” 5star. This is what I dont like with Hyatt hotels ie. attepts to modernize that make it look cheap

The room is clean and well-kept. The bed is comfortable and the staff is helpful. We enjoyed having the tea buffet and breakfast at the hotel. Though the hotel room price a bit expensive but it is worth to do so. As the hotel is located just a few mins from Taipei 101 and the shopping malls, we shopped in this area. A great experience to stay in the hotel

I had a wonderful stay at your hotel with welcoming staff and a beautifully designed, well-maintained room. The highlight of my stay was the delicious food at the hotel's restaurant. I would like to give a special thanks to Ms. Elsa, the cafe manager, for her exceptional service during my stay at the hotel. Her attentive and friendly approach made my dining experience even more enjoyable, and I appreciate the effort she put into ensuring that everything was just right.
