A very nice room which was of comfortable size yet not overly pricy. I fell ill during my stay, and was thankful many times over that this hotel offered rooms which were good not only for staying but for actually living without feeling caged or uncomfortable. The cleaning staff was the nicest ever! Also, fresh bottles of water each day. Unexpected bonus.

There wasn't much not to like. While not being overly fancy, or of any extravagant design or layout, this is one of the best hotels I have stayed at for a long while. Good, solid quality through and through.

Location is excellent—right next to the Taipei 101 skyscraper. The hotel looks slick both outside and inside, but more importantly, the room itself was spacious and comfortable, with the added bonus of a balcony. The size of the room and the balcony gave us a real sense of freedom, and we enjoyed overlooking the city from above. If you’re looking to explore Taipei, this is a great base. Many of our excursions ended right next to Taipei 101, so staying here made everything easy and convenient. There are plenty of 7-Elevens just steps away from the hotel, which was very handy. The staff were very, very helpful and attentive throughout our stay. Breakfast was also surprisingly good—especially compared to what you often get in Europe. It was fresh, satisfying, and a great start to the day. Plenty of restaurants around (some pricey, some cheap). While the exterior of the building and the entrance might not impress at first glance, don’t let that discourage you. Inside, you’ll find good value for your money—especially if you’re not chasing luxury, but want comfort and convenience in a central spot.

Basic Facilities as expectable from description - so no bad surprises.

This property is great, and my family and I enjoyed being billeted here. It was pretty near Taipei 101, and the surrounding neighborhood is full of great food options. Loved we could do our laundry—there were two washers and two dryers for guests, plus detergent!—at our convenience. Staff was warm, friendly, and accommodating. And our rooms were cleaned and tidied daily. My son says he can’t imagine us staying elsewhere next we return.

The location is accessible to many places as well as train and bus stations. The room was bigger than we expected and the bathroom as well was spacious.

The wifi was iffy. User gets connected and disconnected every few minutes so if you need to have a stable internet connection then it would be better to find an alternative. I would also like to suggest more variation for breakfast especially for people who take it more than 2 or 3 days.

The room is spacious and modern. The breakfast is good. The efficiency and kindness of the staff can not be overstated. When we arrived early they let use the washer and dryer by the gym so our laundry would be all set for the rest of our trip. When we had an early flight they had a breakfast box waiting for us at checkout. Strong WiFi.

The location is not good for first time tourists unless you have a car. Most historic sites are 25-30 minutes away.

Nothing to complain about. Room was very big. There was ample space for us to walk around even after we open our two 28" luggage and two hand carry luggage. Minutes walk to Taipei 101 and the train station. We didn't book the room with breakfast and didn't have time to visit the gym either, hence, unable to comment on both. Our room faces the direction of Songshan airport and we get to see planes landing and flying off. Magnificent view. And to the corner of the balcony of our room, we have the view of Taipei 101. They gave free pineapple tarts too, but, as we are lacto-vegetarian and there are no ingredients stated or dietary restriction stated, so we didn't give it a try.

I accessed the hotel by metro and Youbike. My room was large, there was plenty of space. The Internet was the best I’ve experienced in my two years of hotels in Taiwan. There was none of that “non-secure wifi. It was awesome.

The breakfasts were sad. But there are plenty of places to eat nearby.

everything except elevator. we loved the room, it exceeded my expectations. we enjoyed the buffet breakfast. we enjoyed the location especially when we crossed the road, we always take a picture of taipei 101 as our background. near to 7-11 or family mart. we loved the louisa coffee shop which is near also. it is also near to carrefour supermarket which is 6-8mins walk. near to bus station but you need 1day pass to enjoy it. helpful, knowledgeable and friendly staff. we loved the garden and spotlights.

i didn't like the elevator because it was too fast to close and need to hold the elevator button to prevent from closing and to let in other or next person to alight. anyway, i think you are open in improving the hotel so i think if you have enough budget you can change the elevator into new ones. :)

Laundry was critical for a long stay - this was a huge bonus! Gym was critical I stayed in multiple hotels across Taipei, and this one had the best location! Nice views and balcony - really enhanced the experience

Gym was too small. You need a larger area for exercises that use the weights One of the days we did not have cleaning service for some reason. Generally more thorough cleaning would be good. TV did not have international channels (eg CNN) Having a lounge is great. But you could convert more of the space into a desk/co-working space with outlets.

Superb housekeeping and excellent breakfast, which is one of the main reasons that I booked here for the family whenever we visit Taiwan. and I would like to commend on the friendly and helpful restaurant team.

no makeup mirror and lighting is not makeup friendly for the ladies, and the rude receptionist who assisted with luggage upon checkout which we didn't encounter during our stay before, she was however polite and even bowed at English speaking guests. (we spoke in Mandarin)
