I liked the location which was between two Metro stations within walking distance. Also there are many restaurants and cafes in the surrounding area as well. The room toilet is a Toto washlet!!!

Not much. The art collection in the lobby is a bit dubious but I can ignore it.

Great location. Intimate boutique hotel with unique ambience. Over the top artwork, which I thought was unique and entertaining.

Some parts of the room were old, like dirt stains or moulds in the shower ceiling. I also saw one very very small cockroach in the bathroom. Also the wiring of the screen in the bathroom was repaired with gummy paste and not a proper repair. Room 507.

Location

WiFi is awful or literally none. It also blocks your reception using your own network which is ridiculous. Once you step out of the hotel, everything is back to normal. Sorry to say but what 4/5 hotel don’t provide WiFi nowadays?! Staff said it’s because hotel is full. That’s not an excuse am afraid.

Nicely decorated, kind reception, good italian restaurant (Bellini Cafe) downstairs. Room was modern and fresh. Good wifi and excellent bed. Location for business is excellent; between Shangri La Far Eastern and the WTC/ 101. Price quality is great. Will come back as smallish feel, good atmosphere, personal care and generally nice.

- there is no gym or pool (and probably hard for the hotel to create one) - TV is somewhat difficult to sort out for a tech illiterate (but what are you doing in Taiwan then..) - Windows cant open (given noice and heat not a disaster but I like to smell some fresh air in the evening) - Breakfast included and not bad but somewhat basic probably to limit waste in times of low occupation levels (which in itself is great and more hotels should consider), although staff attendants give it great care.

location of the hotel is within expectation as distance from hotel to meet with client whom are all located within fushing south and north road, along Daan district. very convenient to get around everyday.

everything offer by the hotel are adequate. Perhaps the hotel lobby cafe lightings should by brighter a bit. I felt the cafe area is a bit dark n dull.

Great location! I loved their complimentary mini bar and happy hour.

It would be convenient if they provided toiletry amenities (such as toothbrushes, shaving kits, etc.) and an iron in the room ready, without having to call reception. The pillow was a bit too soft to sleep on; it gave me a neckache.

Very comfy and elegant rooms with premium equipment. The arrangement is great so there is lots of space. Even thought it's not directly at any MRT station the location is still very central and you can get to anywhere in Taipei quickly. And with the right room you even get a view on 101.

The main and room doors are HEAVY!

We prefer non-generic boutique hotels with responsive personal service, large and comfortable rooms with topnotch amenities, charm and atmosphere. Hotel Eclat exceeded our expectations on every one of these counts. We loved the quirky decor; the large high-ceilinged room with high-tech controls; the exceptionally comfortable bed, pillows and linens; the happy hour discount on drinks in the marvelous bar; and, at least as importantly, the service. We needed an English-speaking private driver to tour four of us from Taipei to Shifen, Pingxi and Joufen and then return us to our cruise ship in Keelung. Between our checkin and bedtime, the front desk had arranged it all. We could not have been happier.

The hotel is a bit crazy, a design/art/boutique hotel trying to attract your attention. Strange plastic sculptures, crazy room equipment combining high-tech and nonsense like glass-walled wardrobe. I have visited the hotel just before Christmas, so there was a lot of gaudy Christmas decorations and the poor employees were dressed as Santa's elves. But apart of that craziness it is in fact a pretty good hotel, cozy, well equipped, in excellent location, and with a very good and rich breakfast. Also Wi-Fi worked flawlessly. If you want to try for a change something else than the usual standard-style hotel without a personality, I can only recommend this one.

The only little detail was that not all employees speak reasonable English, the communication with some of them was a bit shaky.

The friendliness of all the staff and state of art decor, just world class!

The front foyer door are way too heavy.
