Room was absolutely TINY however well thought out with space. Parents on bottom bunk and daughter on top bunk. Luckily we only had small cabin sized luggage as I'm not sure where you would put a suitcase. Staff were super friendly. Coffee was delicious and kindly brought to the room. Room was clean and functional. Small shared kitchen space and free tea and coffee to help yourself. Great little hotel in a great location. Cafe was lovely and free fast wifi.

No space for luggage if bringing large suitcase - however the staff are so accommodating, I'm sure they'd come up with a solution if needed. We only had day bags so weren't bothered by this personally.

This hotel is in a great neighborhood (Daan) located literally 1 minutes from the red subway line (the main one in Taipei) which made it incredibly easy to get to and from different districts in Taipei using our metro card. The hotel’s cafe serves AMAZING food and coffee at a reasonable price by extremely kind and hospitable staff. There is a community fridge in the hallway but not in the room, so if you want to store drinks/food you can, but just note you’ll have to walk a minute down the hall to it. The hotel was also able to hold our luggage for us until we checked in which was very kind. It was very easy to get to from the airport too. Can’t say enough good things about it. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a quieter part of Taipei that’s still easily accessible and only a few stops from Taipei 101.

The ONLY thing I could think of is that it can get cramped. The rooms are not large, and with luggage you may find that if you have 3 people to a room it can get tight. The room was also quite humid so if you don’t enjoy that maybe make sure to keep the window open or fan on. :)

The place is very cozy, location is excellent, very near to train station and bus stop. Breakfast was super, very high quality. There are many amenities including toothbrush and toothpaste, shower cap which I didn't expect. There was even a snack bar served with cookies in common area and you can help yourself with some hot tea.

The waiting time for breakfast was a bit long because there was only 1 staff to take orders and prepare the breakfast. It improved when another staff came in. However I was on leisure mode so it didn't bother me at all and I could enjoy the slow place and the nice view while waiting. The breakfast served was of great quality and it was worth the wait. Don't recommend if you are on business-hurry-mode.

The rooms were extra small, but the hotel made up for it by being perfect in all other things. Good staff, free tea and water, great shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel in the shower.

The size of the rooms (not enough room to completely open a suitcase) and no coffee in the free drink area. If you have a suitcase larger than a carry-on, I don't recommend this hotel, the rooms are just too small for it.

Unbeatable location at the heart of the city, literally 1 min walk to the MRT station. Lots of eateries within the area, and within just 3 bus stops it opens selections to the famous Yong-kang street. The Da-an park is also in walking distance. The rooms are tiny but with well-designed layout and efficient space use, we feel very comfortable and cozy. The bed sheets are very clean and comfortable, fresh!

There's really nothing to complain about.

I had to check in late but the staff left really detailed instructions on how to get in ifnthey weren't there. The room was very clean and cozy and quiet! The bathroom was just the right size as well! I enjoyed the heated toilet seat and the multi-setting bidet :) I was happy to see snacks, tea, and water available for everyone at anytime!

Every once in a while, there was a weird smell that would waft through the room. Also, at times, you could hear the water running through another room. But these are very minor things.

lovely tiny ground floor hotel conencted to a cafe (i had no time to try it) with quite compact rooms but super comfortable, very ncie facilities, water boiler, common fridge, tea and cookies, all toiletries and even daily exchange of towels (much better than many other places in Taipei/Taiwan!). Also proper toilet (not Chiense style where there is a waste bin for used toilet paper). Location is super good for everything you need (transportation, shops, restaurants, bars, etc). Super recomended!

The room was cozy and clean, included things like toothbrush, comb, shampoo and shower gel (the wonderful Cha Tzu Tang brand). The location was about a block from the train station, so very easy to get to if you are lugging a suitcase! The cafe seating is comfortable and offers something like an after hours living room.

The bathroom was a little snug and had a frosted glass panel right by the toilet that might be a bit awkward. You can't really see anything through it, but it might be uncomfortable for people who aren't close.

i think price quite increased since the year before: it makes the stay a bit too expensive for what you get; rooms are tiny and have no view, it is just for sleep (fair enough)

(1) Location: 3-5mins walk from Daan mrt. Take exit #1, which has escalator. It has many cafes popular around and is within walking distance to Daan forest park (15 mins) and taipei 101 (40.mins). Daan station is on the Red line, which the Taipei Main Station, Taipei101, Dongmen (local market), Beitou hotspring and Danshui station is located. Very convenient! (2) Bed: rather comfortable and reasonably firm to provide a marvelous rest! It is likely that I may choose this place to stay again if my itinerary allows.

(1) space: sufficient to move around in the room, but no space for luggage, esp if it is bigger than handcarry size. The toilet is small but the toilet seat is warm (which is nice). (2) common pantry and fridge: no fridge in room, but need to share with others in the common area. But thankfully, our room is just beside it. (3) Soundproofing: can hear noise (door opening and walking), but since we are in the last room, noise is minimized.
