Dolamanco Hotel is an excellent choice when staying in Taipei. The hotel is located in a part of the city with easy access to transport, food and drink, with a really nice park over the road. The hotel has got everything you need for a comfortable stay and the cleaning is to a high standard. The hotel staff are also very friendly and helpful, providing lots of useful information when necessary. There was one evening where the Aircon broke slightly, but this was quickly fixed and the hotel provided a free bottle of wine as an apology! This is an example of the excellent customer service that the Dolamanco Hotel offers. We fully recommend this hotel as a base for exploring Taipei!

Great location, with a nice view of the park, which is rare for Taipei. Everything you need in walking distance (metro, shops and restaurants). Friendly and helpful staff.

Hotel is a bit old and could use a bit of sprucing up. Nothing major but rooms could use a fresh coat of paint and bathroom could use some work. Cleaning was quite bad for my standards. You get fresh towels and slippers everyday and I think every second day, they replace bed linen, which is ok. But floor was cleaned once in 14 days we spend there and bathroom I think was not cleaned even once. Soundproofing between rooms is ok, but doors of the rooms are thin and have a huge below so you hear everything from the hallway.

The room was very clean, it was very close to everywhere. There are many restaurants around. ATM machines also. There is recepsion 7/24. They have coffee machine in the lobby and they serve free snacks. The staff was very friendly.

When we asked for towels, soap or anything they had, someone was at the room with it in a few minutes. There were snacks in the lobby, and coffee and hot chocolate. There was also tourist literature. Staff was limited in English, but usually could understand requests. Location across from Daan Park was a destination in itself. Convenience stores were all around and restaurants were with two blocks. Subway station is right there. A public library with a lot of selections in English is also nearby. There is also a self-serve washer/dryer on site for a really small fee.

The elevator is very small, and unforgiving. You may get smacked by the doors. Staff would not forgive us two days of our reservation after we delayed going to Taipei so that we would not be in a typhoon.

The location was excellent and the rooms were simple but stylish. I had a beautiful view of Da’an park. The free water, coffee, tea, and sports drinks were great to have on my 5-night stay. The staff were friendly and willing to use English (which was a big help!), and they even returned my friend’s lost sock from the laundry! Will definitely consider staying again.

This may be my fault for not asking, but I couldn’t get the thermostat to work in the first room I stayed in, so I was quite cold (it seemed to work fine in the second room I stayed in). It would have been nice to have more blankets - but again, I should have asked! Also, there were a lot of noises throughout the night probably from the building itself, not other guests, but using ear plugs mostly solved this issue for me.

This hotel's location was excellent: the Red Line MRT entrance and flower market were on either end of the block, and the view from my room of Da'an Park and the egrets and herons flying in an out all day felt like a respite from the city. It is also only a 15-minute walk from Yongkang Jie. The staff were very polite and responsive. I stayed for 2 weeks while attending a language class, and the facility had everything I needed, including a lot of storage space.

Some people may feel the decor is a bit dated, but that is not an important factor for me.

Couldn’t have asked for a better location, centrally located to all my planned destinations and right near the Daan Park Station. Friendly staff, nearby convenience stores, and plenty of delicious food options in walking distance. Will definitely stay here again on my next visit (and will definitely be back to this amazing country). Room size was spacious and free snacks (make sure to try the kali!), view of park was pleasant.

Couldn’t fault it, if I was picky the shower was a bit tight but I’m tall and this is common.

This was our second time staying here as we love the location and the hotel rooms are so comfortable and spacious. Free snacks in the lobby and friendly staff are also a plus.

We had a pleasant stay at Dolamanco Hotel in Daan Park. The hotel is super clean, and the staff were prompt in responding to any inquiries. Our room had a relaxing view of Daan Park, which we loved. The neighborhood has nearby convenience stores and great dining options. The hotel provides everything you need, from toiletries to pillows and slippers (although they are thin, they are changed daily), and there are free snacks and coffee in the lobby. They even have a weighing scale available. Special shoutout to the ladies who assisted us during our stay – we appreciate you! We will definitely stay here again. We love the Daan and Dongmen districts.

However, there is some room for improvement. When we arrived, there were mosquitoes, and the reception desk was a bit messy. The hotel slippers could be thicker for more comfort, and the cleaning could be more consistent and spotless. Additionally, the laundry facilities, which are currently in the parking lot, would be better placed in a more protected area.
