Central location makes this a top choice for stay in Taipei. Staff was exceptional - very friendly and helpful. Most staff knew some English which was helpful for us. The bathroom shower pressure and temperature control along with the bidet added a nice touch of pampering that was much needed at the of our days touring Taipei.

Buffet was okay with fresh fruit and vegetable options. We enjoyed the variety of global breakfast outings but would have liked to see more Taiwanese breakfast options since that is where we were visiting.

Sonnien went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. The room was a perfect size for me as I was travelling solo, everything was clean and tidy and I always appreciate the complimentary water. Location wise it worked well for me as a keen walker that most of the main city sights in Taipei were within a 40-ish minute walk of the hotel. The receptionist provided me with maps to help me out which I was thankful for. I want to specifically give a shoutout to one receptionist that went above and beyond to arrange a taxi to the airport for me when I had a very early morning flight to catch. It felt like she would've moved mountains to make sure I got there, I was very grateful for this, you truly showcased Taiwanese kindness.

We had an excellent 6 night stay at this hotel. Hotel is clean. Family room is spacious. Included breakfast is decent with many healthy choices. Staff is friendly and attentive even some of them don't speak English. Hotel has a big laundry room in the basement operated by coins. We exchanged coins at front desk. Washers and dryers were always available when we needed them, bring your own detergent. The location is excellent, only a short Uber drive to any sight seeing spot. Overall, we were happy to stay here.

The deluxe room was amazing - very new, incredibly spacious and well equipped. Large wardrobe with sufficient hanging room. Great views and the mini bar was all complimentary. The bathroom was also very spacious. Breakfast buffet was good but nothing exciting or extraordinary. More Taiwanese style breakfast options. The person at the front desk with the British account was very helpful. The free car park was also very convenient. Location wise - very close to YongKang District. In house coin laundry service was very convenient.

It’s at least a 10min walk from the nearest MRT station so not the most convenient if taking the MRT a lot. Staff at the restaurant during the breakfast could be a bit more attentive. Some staff at the front desk could be more helpful.

Place is just 15mins walk from Yong Kang Street. So its somewhat convenient. It is also a 10min walk from the nearest MRT station, with alternatives just slightly further (15mins?) away. Neighbourhood is relatively quiet as there is a primary school nearby. But it is quite central, so getting around Taipei wasn't a challenge. Staff speaks good English and were really helpful.

The breakfast was alright, but its the exact same dishes everyday. So, we only ate twice and went out for a proper taste of Taipei on the other days.

I had an amazing stay! The team organized a surprise barbecue session for in-house guests, creating a warm and festive atmosphere for the New Year’s countdown celebration. Bravo to the team for making it so memorable! Various delicious food and drinks were provided free of charge, adding to the delight. The hotel offers a special venue to enjoy the spectacular Taipei 101 fireworks, which was truly unforgettable. A big thank you to the reservation team, especially Nancy and Mina, for accommodating my room request so efficiently. The front office staff were incredibly friendly and patient, always happy to answer my questions and provide guidance. The location is unbeatable, with the MRT station just a 3-5 minute walk away. There are plenty of fantastic food options near the station too. I’ll definitely come back to stay here on my next visit! Highly recommended.

In a nice part of the city with a 10 minute walk access to subway stations to get to anywhere in the city. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially for our (larger) family group. The breakfast had nice Taiwanese and continental options, though tables can be hard to come by at peak (we found one after 1-2 minutes). Nearby are plenty of conveniences, such as a nice walkable park, 7-11 convenience store, large pharmacy with great selection of skin care and hair care, and nice restaurants.

Location, free parking, very comfortable bed, good size room, and very clean . If not the aircon issue, it would have been a very good hotel

We had an issue with the A/C. When we turned it on, it didn't cool the room. Only fan. We called the front desk. The receptionist admitted that there is a problem in some rooms and she needs to call her supervisor. They knew that there is a problem but assigned the room anyway. It was late at night, we had to wait for the manager to come and do whatever he did to fix it. We didn't like the attitude.

The location of this hotel is very good. near the ATM station and only one stop from the heart of the city. We have received an upgrading for the bedroom, therefore we cannot complain, it was big and full of light. The mattress was very hard, for me and as well as for my colleague. The breakfast was rich enough, of course mainly chinese food, but also enough western style food to choose from.

The only thing which I didn't like about this hotel is that the lobby is really small and the breakfast room is basically next to it, without divisor. It is not too bad, but it can be a bit confusing, especially when the tables are all occupied and at the same time there is someone checking out and may be some courier delivering a parcel.

It was clean with a good view. The room was quiet and nice and large. The bathroom was excellent. Housekeeping was great and brought an extra pillow as requested. The staff have been very friendly and helpful especially Tommy. Thank you so much. We will be back tomorrow!
