This place was incredible. They've thought of all sorts of little conveniences and amenities--shelf and storage space in your capsule, two different lights, hangers, a ladder with thick rungs and good railings that's easy to use/step on and off. There are hooks and places in the shower to hang your clothes and toiletries, and a glass screen to protect them from getting wet. Security was excellent, with a key card you could use for the outside door, the elevator, and your room. There's not a great social atmosphere, but I loved this place as a solo traveller. Location is also a plus, right across from the Dongmen station exit and down the street from Da'an Forest Park. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The location is superb, 1 min walk from Dong Men MRT which has connection to 2 MRT lines. Cleanliness of the "capsule" room was great, the shared bathroom and toilet exceed expectation being always clean in spite being used by quite a few. I also love its mattress, blanket and pillow. Wifi connection is good too.

It does get warm if the curtain in drawn, so I do have to let it open slightly, letting go of a bit of privacy. Lastly, do prepare to be disturbed by other guests' snoring. I expected that but one of the guests was really loud. And then the annoying alarm of a guest who keep snoozing it for almost 30 min before he finally willing to get up.

We stayed in a double bed in a mixed dorm for 5 nights and it was pretty good. The bed area is spacious and gives you a lot of privacy. In the dorm is an extra area for changing clothes and drying your towels so you never have wet things in your bed. The bathroom is very clean with free shampoo/ shower gel, a hair dryer and enough space to operate. We didn’t use the common area much but it was a nice place to hang out and have some snacks, as you can not eat or drink in the dorm. Overall it was a very good hostel and nice stay and we are going to come back in a few weeks. Keep in mind, this is still a hostel and can be quite noisy at night, depending on the numbers of people in the dorm. But we didn’t had any big issues… if it is too loud, the provide free ear plugs at the reception. You can also rent towels and other stuff there. The area the hostel is located in is one of our favorites. The metro entrance is literally two doors away from the hostel and you can find a lot of good food around.

Nothing really bothered us just we thought the dorm was smaller but in the mixed one there are quite a few beds. Towels are not included so bring your own ones or pay for renting.

Overall it was a good stay for me. + Great location. The hostel is very close to Exit 1&3 of Dongmen Station (Orange Line MRT) and Ubike station which is super convenient for me. The local morning market which sells fresh fruits and good food is right across the street. Daan Park, Yongkang Street (famous for good eateries, restaurants, and trendy cafes though they tend to be somewhat pricey), and the 24-hour Carrefour supermarket are all within walking distance. + The bed is comfy, and the cubicle is spacious enough for an Asian girl like me. + The coffee shop on the ground floor is worth checking out. It serves good coffee at a reasonable price, and a big plus is that it opens early in the morning (Many cafés in Taipei close till noon).

Super helpful staff; they've done everything to accommodate my schedule. I'm used to dormitories and isn't expecting anything better than your usual lousy and dirty hostel when I book one. But this place is very clean and the bedspace is incredibly spacious, clean and convenient.

Bigger lockers would be great. I came as a musician and had to keep my instrument by the bed because there were no way it would fit in the small locker under the bed. I know I probably could've find a solution with the staff if I just asked, but it wasn't that much of a bother and I doubt it would ever be stolen considering the security displayed to access the room and the level of privacy you get inside in your cubicle. The place is a bit hard to find when you don't know where it's located, especially after hours. But the spot is nice and even the frontdoor cafe is really pleasant.

We booked a 4 bed room for 3 people and no one moved in the whole time so had a private room, it was amazing, the beds were incredibly comfortable, the rooftop area was a really nice place to have dinner with a view, bathrooms were fully equipped with hairdryer and showers had good water pressure and hot water!! Very clean and the staff were super lovely and even accommodated for us when we wanted to extend our stay. Would highly highly recommend and come back. Also right outside the mrt station with lots of cafes and nice side streets to explore. Amazing location.

We went during January so it was very cold and the bathroom area had no door so was very cold to shower sometimes.

Location is superb Barely a minutes walk from the train station The train station itself is very central and well connected line to the city area As for the bed it was simple but well kept, if you have the option of staying in the lower bunk i would suggest that as the upper bunk is quite tedious to get to if you have lots of things to bring up (or if you're staying for multiple days), but shouldn't be an issue if you're there for 1-2 nights Sufficient power points Toilet was also cleaned daily Laundry available, but dryer only available on certain floors

Air conditioning isnt turned on during the day time so if you return to hostel for a nap in the day it may be a little warm Common room (down stairs kitchen) needs better upkeeping

I loved the location. It was easy to get to, especially with easy access to subway. It had a great coffee shop that served fantastic coffee. Customer's respected quiet time. locker with locks for luggage. Easy check in for a flight coming in after midnight. It is very clean and has roomy and comfortable sleeping space. I did not need ear plugs and slept comfortably. Everything was nice about the stay. It is always an important bonus to note that there is separate space to get purified water and sit and use computers. My slippers cam with my floor and bunk number, so I had my own slippers during my stay. I enjoyed the stay and would return.

We all seemed to take a shower at same time of night. Perhaps three showers on each floor. Two did not fit the schedule we all seemed to have. Still, not a long wait. I love the provision of slippers and the same slipper number. It was confusing to not be able to wear them inside the room area. Not susre if we were supposed to go barefoot but I saw almost all guests coming in with slippers. I don't think they were breaking rules but it was hard to understand. We all like to not go barefoot and if we are not wearing our shoes, we wore the slippers in the roome area - oops.

I absolutely love this hostel. The female dorm is light, clean and the bunk bed is nice big with a little table inside, hangers and ample space. They clean all areas everyday, so it’s super nice. I like the bathroom and the shower which is spacious with hooks and a dry part. The common area is chill. I extended my stay twice and I will come back. Moreover, the location is ideal and the vibe is good. I just love this place. The reception is super friendly and the coffee place is lovely way to enter.

Nothing - but a note for travellers do be mindful with others in the sleeping area, they have lockers underneath the bunk beds so don’t go slamming the door. This is travellers behaviour not the hostel.

Bathrooms are fairly clean, beds were very comfy. Loved how there was a coffee shop at the entrance.

Staff were very inaccessible, as front desk was only open from 11 am-6 pm. Wish hours were longer for not only more flexible check-in but also to ask questions. Also, I was looking to book again for my second visit to Taipei, but I’m confused how the prices for one bed have doubled since the last time. I paid about $34 SGD per bed before.
