As a solo traveler it is usually quite difficult to find something that fits and is not a dorm. This hotel's single rooms fitted the bill quite well for me. Yes, they are small, but you don't book a stay here to hang in the room all day. I found the design quite clever, for fitting so much in such a tiny space. The neighborhood is nice, with some less touristy restaurants and bars around.

Wifi could be a bit spotty at times. You are well connected by bus, but you do have to walk about 10-15 min to the next mtr station. I personally love to walk, but to give you an idea, you'd walk about an hour to reach Taipei 101 and about an hour to reach the Lungshan temple

Was happy the hotel provides free tea and snacks during the day. The price of the rooms were reasonable. Staff were friendly and helpful especially they gave us umbrellas on the rainy days, escorted me back to my floor to allow me access to my room as I had forgotten my key and advised about travelling to the airport early to avoid delays at the airport as we were flying back on Lunar New Year's day. The hotel was central to the places we wanted to visit with restaurants, supermarkets, metro station and churches all within walking distance. We were unexpectedly delighted that we could walk within 10 mins from this hotel to the beautiful Holy Family Church which allowed us to attend early morning daily Mass with the devoted parishioners even though we didn't speak the language but understood.

Would have liked a full mirror in the room, but not a big issue.

The room is clean and well equipped in a way that it doesn't feel as small as it is. The aquarium-style of the bathroom was fun - if you don't like it, there is a curtain for some more privacy. The shower was strong and the gel smelled nice. The reception staff was friendly. The location is convenient, in walking distance of Daan Forest Park, Yonkang shopping/restaurant street and Shida night market. There are so many great restaurants, bars and cafés around, it's almost overwhelming :)

It's a bit of a walk from the closest metro (there is a bus stop though). Also, the "business area" wasn't much - just a coffee machine and a table with two chairs crammed in a narrow room honestly. Both of these things didn't bother us, but they might be important to some people.

Clean. Good location nearby the university, a police station, and grocery store; hence safe and convenient. Our room was g7.17, which is apparently the largest room layout. I especially enjoyed the business center, which is a small room with a hot water and cold water machine, as well as a small selection of complimentary cheap snacks, teas and coffee. The water machine saved us from needing to buy bottled water, since you have to boil the tap water to drink. Will definitely stay again. By our western standards, the room and overall hotel stay was excellent.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, and spoke amazing English. The room was small but clean and comfortable, and the common room area had a free-use coffee machine, free snacks, and a filtered water fountain. The Shida night market is only a 5 minute walk away, and has a great array of stalls, and the beautiful Daan park is also 5 minutes away.

The only issue I encountered was that the creamer/milk pods by the coffee machine were absolutely impossible to open!

The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and were attentive and considerate when it came to booking the property in the first place (as some of the rooms didn't have any windows). I loved the character of the rooms, despite being very small, it was functional for a solo traveller who would be outside most of the day. It is also incredible value for money. Definitely worth it. Liberty Square is nearby and there are several convenience stores nearby. Daan Park is also a 10 minute walk if you wish for a nice walk in the evening.

Be aware that the location isn't directly close to any metro lines - it is between Daan Park and Guting stations (both a 15-20 minute walk from the hotel). During the summer it doesn't make for pleasant walking unless dressed appropriately. Buses are also infrequent. Bear this in mind when you are arriving into Taipei Main Station. But there is a YouBike station along from the hotel. It's easy to register for these. The nearest landmarks is Liberty Square and Ximen and can be cycled easily from the hotel. The bathroom is a wet room. So the shower is included. But when showering, remove all items - it WILL get wet!

We are very fortunate to have found this hotel. It’s now become our go to hotel when we visit Taipei. The location is perfect a right turn out of hotel followed by a right turn on next corner takes you on a short walk through lovely neighbourhood. On the way lots of coffee shops and near a main metro station which is perfect. Opposite the hotel is Louisa coffee and behond a great little night market. Staff at hotel are wonderful, nothing to much trouble.

Nice location as Shida Night Market, Da'an Forest Park, Yongkang neighborhood are within walking distance. There's also a Carrefour supermarket next door. The staffs are helpful, the room is clean with a large window offering a nice city view. Especially, they have a leaflet including famous Taiwanese specialties like pineapple cakes, nougat biscuits, etc. that you can place your order with the FO and get them delivered to you on that day or the day after. Super convenient! Highly recommended!

I loved the location of the hotel as it is in close proximity to all major tourist attractions! Furthermore I was impressed by the diligence of the staff that works there. The check-in and check-out were convenient and straightforward and I was offered to leave my lighthearted both before I checked in and after I checked out. Also I needed to print some documents for the next destination of the trip and I was provided with great assistance by one of their staff members (Winnie) who explained to me in detail where and how I can print whatever I need!

Everything was great.

- The staff was very friendly and helpful. I walked with crutches due to an ankle injury and they were willing to help without me even asking. - It is a 5 minute walk to Shida night market. - There are multiple supermarkets and convenience starts next to the hotel, within the same street. - Free coffee available at the 7th Floor (coffee machine), in addition to the free instant coffee and tea in your room).

The closest MRT is at located a 12 minutes walk away. The hotel is a bit expensive.
