The room is clean and location is very close to train station.

The hotel IT system was hacked and the hacker gained access to hotel.com using the hotel's credentials. The hacker then sent message to me via hotel.com asking for credit card confirmation. I was not careful enough thinking that it was via hotel.com. I ended up cancelled my credit card. My booking was somehow cancelled without my knowledge. There was no room available upon arrival. In the end, we were given a room for disabled guest on the first night. Anyhow, we wish the hotel can improve their system security and can prevent further such incidents.

The breakfasts ( full buffet) was exceptional, western and asian. I lost a wallet and one of the reception staff accompanied me to the Police Station to report loss. You cannot get much better than that!

No plugs on 'desk'. Labelled 'bar' on their lighting system which might explain it. Ran out of liquid soap in shower, made it obvious that bottle was empty (plastic throw away) by denting it to draw attention. Nil result. Used shampoo last 24 hours.

The staff are very polite and attend to guests' request very quickly. Breakfast is included in the room rate. Quality and quantity is good, a lot of green vegetables provided, rarely found in other hotel's breakfast. Bottle water is provided every day. Complementary coffee and tea and cookies are provided at the lobby. The location is very convenient.

The room size is small. It is a bit dark. The first room allocated was too dark and there were a lot of small flies. Upon request, the staff changed another room for me immediately. During my stay, an earthquake occurred. The opening area at the bathroom ceiling got water leakage, a big shower happened. Perhaps it was the reason why the first room was damp and got a lot of small flies.

Hotel is located about 150 meters from Da'an MRT station and easy to find. Room was quite big, clean, though not that brightly lit. Aircon was strong and cold. one can off it manually if desired. Toilet was considered big, with no heated seat or water spray, unlike the 2 other hotels we have stayed in during the trip. Breakfast was pretty standard but nice and delicious. There are shops and eateries near and around the hotel for one to try the local food. There was also a beautiful garden 15-minutes' walk from the hotel. Pathway to hotel is mostly sheltered, so there is not much worry about rain when walking from train station to hotel. Thanks to a lady staff who helped us to book a 5:30am taxi ride to Taoyuan airport, which took half an hour as the hotel road connects to the highway after just making a few turns. A relief for us as we were taking the 8:00am flight.

Sound proofing could be better.

Location is great. From Taoyuan Airport, just a n airport express ride to Taipei Main station, then a transfer to the red line to the Daan station just down the street. Or 35 minute UBER ride. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Staff is very friendly and the breakfast buffet delicious.

The rooms are on the small side, so if you're a couple with a lot of luggage, it will be bit of a squeeze.

- Only 5 minutes walk from subway Daan station. For those carrying luggage, suggest you take exit 4 where escalator is available. - Many eateries and shops around and the area is safe. - Bed is comfortable. Room is very clean. Wi-Fi is available and speed is both fast and reliable. - Breakfast is delicious, not grand but sufficient and of good quality, More Chinese dishes than western style. I appreciate the menu changes everyday. - service is excellent - This is a mid size hotel (around 100 rooms), You do not see noisy tourist groups gathering at the lobby. - Good coffee and cookies served at the lobby everyday.

- No self service laundry facility.

Clean. Quiet. Good breakfast. Stayed 4 nights. Some items were different daily so there was a bit of variety during yhr 4 breakfasts we had. First night was terribly hot. The hotel set the thermostat at 23. They sent us an electric fan that night but moved us to another room the following day. Thereafter, they set the thermostat to 21. So it was comfortable.

Small room. Small bed. No bidet spray.

The location is excellent in the center of city and close to landmarks, shopping malls, restaurants, and convenience stores. The room is comfortable and clean and quite spacious. The bed is comfy. The price was good value.

Wifi connection was intermittent and the door of the bathroom was broken, could not be closed fully.

Only 2 or 3 minutes walk from Daan MRT Station. With 3 layers of glass windows, quiet room even facing the Main Street. Small boutique hotel in the city with restaurants and shops around. Towels are clean and thick. Enjoy local & international channels with 55” TV. Breakfast with Western & Chinese food. Enough space for 2 full size baggage and carry on luggage!

The hotel is strategically located in Da'an district, & less than 5 mins walk from Da'an Station Exit 4 or 5, an interchange station for 2 MRT lines (Brown and Red), making our trips everywhere a breeze. Taipei is a safe and very "walkable" city, with pedestrian walkway along every road. Linjiang/TongHua Night Market is a short 20 mins walk away, so is the award-winning 18 Guanjun beef noodle restaurant. The hotel breakfast is commendable, if you had a "Chinese Palette". I love the variety of side dishes that go well with the porridge. We stayed for 5 nights, and the hotel made at least 2 changes to its breakfast spread daily, and we appreciated that. You can also order eggs from the wait staff although there's no explicit "eggs station" sign. This will be our hotel of choice when we visit Taipei again.
