Fantastic stay - excellent breakfast selection, Western and Eastern options (i.e. cakes, toast, fruit, yogurt, eggs, vegetables, cheese, hot foods - curries, fish, dumplings - this is a limited list from memory, they had all options!). Happy hour every night with a spread of free food and drinks. Spotlessly clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Location is perfect, very close to restaurants, the metro and YouBike outside is amazing, we cycled most days. We asked for a quiet room and the room was completely silent - amazing soundproofing. Air conditioning worked perfectly as well.

We had a perfect stay. No pool, but if we wanted a leisure centre and pool, we would book a hotel with a pool!! I don't understand other reviews complaining about the leisure centre - it's all clear in the photos & description. Also compleints about staff not coming outside to help with luggage - just ask for help, they will help with anything you need. There was never a queue at reception, always 3 friendly staff there. Also when I saw people talking about no toiletries I packed my own but didn't need them - there are bottles of shower gel, shampoo, conditioner in the room, just not mini bottles that ruin the environment - I think it's great that Taiwan has brought in these regulations. We had an excellent stay.

Very comfortable hotel overall, quiet (except of aircon, but that's noisy everywhere), decent sized room. Staff... well, everything worked as expected, so except of check in and check out, I didn't need to interact with them much. Hotel is at a great location close to public transport and it is in walking distance to 101-area. I wouldn't hesitate to book again when in Taipei. Don't miss happy hours at the hotel bar!

Breakfast was on the edge, particularly the selection of "western" food. Appreciate I'm in Asia so I should try local food, but sometimes it is good just to have what I'm used to. Considering the breakfast price, I'd expect more. Room was too hot for sleep, aircon always reset to 24degC during the day and cooling it down during the evening wasn't enough (it is true I might have asked the staff, maybe that could be changed)

We loved the feel of the Madison. From the minute you walk into the foyer, the greetings from the staff were genuine and friendly. We had the pleasure of dealing with Ian, Yan and Alicely on the front desk and Nino the concierge. All were helpful and professional. The hotel is classy yet homely and relaxing. Perfect after days of sightseeing in the summer heat! Our room was huge and the bed was so comfy. All the little complimentary extras in the minibar each day was appreciated. We got a real kick out of the Madison robot delivering water to our room, we don’t have that tech in NZ yet!! The free happy hour each evening in the downstairs bar was an unexpected treat! Great location between two MRT stations too!

Upscale and extremely clean rooms and facilities. Everything worked perfectly. On site breakfast. Nice hotel bar and lounge. Extremely good service and highly courteous staff. Great location about 7-8 minutes to MRT train and just 5 minutes walking to lots of great neighborhood restaurants.

Very minor suggestion but they could do with better coffee on site as most neighborhood coffee shops don’t open until after 9 or 10am. Having a barista downstairs at the bar / lounge in the mornings who can make an espresso or cappuccino would make this truly a perfect hotel.

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Madison. Nice touches included the happy hour from 5-6pm, with some free food and drinks. Staff were very helpful. Our room was very quiet and comfortable, with modern touches so everything worked perfectly. Breakfast is varied and timing flexible - is reasonable value at T$500. Good restaurants nearby. Underground parking was very handy and great that it was included.

After 3 days the breakfast felt a bit limited so we ventured out after this. Lack of a concierge meant that the front desk staff tried valiantly but often didn't have any info other than Google to address our questions. Location in Da'an is handy although is about a 5-10 minute walk to the nearest underground, making bus and taxi more convenient often.

The whole stay was great and the room was very well done wherever you looked, you would find good quality materials and also thoughtful design. The room was very well laid out and did not feel cramped.

The plug points could have latched onto the plugs a little more securely, as my charger would sag off the wall with a travel adapter. Additionally the mirroring software on the TVs was a little odd to use, but worked well after 20 minutes of figuring it out.

Spacious and clean room, overlooking the greenery. Comfortable bed and shower, friendly and helpful staff. Special mentioned to Alicely who provided excellent suggestions including recommending a nearby clinic and checking the rates on our behalf when we fell ill.

Located in a relatively quiet area but requires a 5 to 10mins walk to nearest metro station. Location may not be ideal for family with young children.

The hotel is in a good location. I was here to attend the conference, and I could find restaurants nearby without needing to go far away from the hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. A great thing was that there was quite a big table, so I was able to work from the hotel instead of looking for a coworking space.

For some reason, my company could not pay for my stay, and I had to manage everything from check-in to check-out. It's strange, as we were not facing the same issues with the EU and some Asian hotels before and after staying in this hotel.

The bed was truly the best California king bed I’ve slept in. Amenities were great, the front desk always cheerful. This is one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in a while.

It’s in the middle of both metro stations, so although convenient, still a short walk away.

An exquisite collection with a touch of luxury and great service from this boutique hotel. Impressed with the room size, the service from the staffs and also the amenities. Breakfast is adequate but not considered fantastic. The great point is, the variety do change here and there every day so we do get to try different things within the same frame throughout the 3 nights stay. Bathroom is huge with shower and bath tub, dry area and an amazing toilet bowl which flushes automatically Good restaurants can be found within walking distance so that’s enough for us. If you are coming with kids, not recommended

The only downside is, the mrt is 450-600m away depending where you are going. If you are on a business trip, that’s fine but tourist like us find the location a tad troublesome.
