The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Ms. Paulina and Ms. Chen Hui went above and beyond to assist me. When I inquired about directions to Yang Ming Shan Park, Ms. Paulina promptly knocked on my room door and handed me a printout of the MRT map, detailing which stops to board and get off. This thoughtful gesture exceeded my expectations.😊 Ms. Chen Hui was equally enthusiastic, showing me the MRT routes on her phone. The hotel’s location is excellent, with easy access to public transportation, including the MRT and buses. Plus, it’s just a short walk away from numerous delightful food vendors. 😋 Overall, my stay was exceptional, thanks to the warm hospitality and convenient amenities provided by Guide Hotel Taipei NTU.👍

Really great staff! If you need anything just ask.... That are ready to provide everything you might need. Also the location could not be better. It's steps from the Taipower building MRT stop on the green line. This is also very very close to the Shida area ... Which has a night market and lots of restaurants and shopping, not to mention the nearby University. So lots of young people around this area. It's just three or four MRT stops from the Ximen MRT, in area you don't want to miss if you're visiting Taipei. All other areas are very easy to get to Via the MRT, by transferring to the other lines. I'll be back!

I personally wish I had a room with just a shower, as opposed to a room with the tub and shower. The bathtubs are quite high and have to be stepped into. Having a shower stall is just a personal preference of mine. I will say with the tub there is a grab bar so it's very safe to get in and out of the tub. If this is important to you be sure to book a room where the shower stall. I had stayed at this hotel several times before and always had a room with a shower stall. So I thought all the rooms were like that. Now I know next time to request a room just with the shower stall. But other than that there was nothing that I didn't like. They offer a nice selection of bathroom amenities. And all of their toilets are bidet toilets!! Really great!

A small intimate hotel with only about 35 rooms. Though it is located on a fairly busy street, the building was renovated so the sound-proofing is very good. We rested well and did not hear any sound from the street or alleys. 1. No breakfast after the pandemic. But there is a 7-11, Carrefour, and YongHe Soymilk and freshly-baked buns within 2 min walk. You can pick up yogurt, banana, fruit, milk, hard-boiled eggs and store extra food in the fridge. 2. Very close to subway station, TaiDian or Taipower [Green Line] exit 4 or 5. This is why the hotel is popular and fills up.

These were annoyances but did not affect our stay. Hot water supply is on the first floor by the reception and is filled in a thermos. Take the initiative and ask for what you need and they may accommodate you. e.g. Use of a microwave.

The location is really perfect! The hotel is near the MRT green line, and lots of bus stops around. There is a night market across the street! Lots of coffees/bars nearby. Amazing staff!

A few small issues about cleanliness... but nothing absolutely crazy! Found a crisp under the desk when I arrived. And I guess someone lost a nail when cleaning my room!

It was clean! Great location! Loved the staff! The staff were so helpful and made such a great effort when I cannot speak much Chinese.

I thought the rooms were very small. Not much space to put your luggage if you have more than one bag.

Room and bed were clean, sufficiently large.

Safe was broken, bathroom could use bit more of mold removal and some wallpaper could be changed.

Nice spacious room, good value for money.

I ran into some issues to pay with international card and had a friend to help me out.

Smooth auto check in and checkout. Staff behavior was exellent. Brilliant location.

Hot water kettle is a must nowadays which was not there.

Comfortable bed. Convenient location. Staff was friendly and helpful, as usual.

Some interior fixtures were a bit worn.
