The hotel is very unique, with its decor and its history. The rooms were clean and large for Taiwan/Asian standards. The soundproof is also great; I could hear neighbors when I was in the hallway but as soon as I got into the room itself it was silent. The staff is amazing; I had a question about a non-hotel-related issue and the staff (esp a Cantonese-speaking trainee) did their very best to help me resolve it. The lobby also serves as a mini/local art exhibition space, which makes the hotel even more special. I loved the location too. It's only a block away from the blue and yellow MRT lines, and less than 10 min walk from Fu Hang Soy Milk for crazy tourists like me who wants to wander over at 5:30am!

The beds are on the firmer side, but I enjoy firm beds.

Place was clean and had lots of amenities. Location was good, a bunch of fast food places nearby and a mall that has a Starbucks for coffee. 3 mins away from the nearest train station. Place offered free breakfast, welcome drinks, tea at the lobby everyday, and candies/snacks for in house guests. :)

Food served during breakfast was a bit repetitive.

This hotel is fantastic - I have very few complaints. The location is perfect and the room was quiet, dark, and comfortable. You are very close to the MRT and bus stops.

The bed is a little hard for my tastes. The breakfast is not for Western tastes - no eggs, bacon, pancakes, etc. Maybe skip the breakfast if you want something other than noodle soup and dumplings for breakfast.

The location is good, just a few minutes to MRT. The room facilities are sufficient and the bed, though a bit hard, is comfortable, especially it is good for elderly. I appreciate very much that there is a snack zone on the ground floor where the guests can take some sweets / snacks, and each floor has a water dispenser where the guests can fill up their own bottles which is more environmental friendly. The room and the beds are clean.

The light is not very bright. Although there is light near the mirror, it is not good enough for make-up. Another problem is that the road outside the hotel is on the non-stopping zone. Hence, it is hard to get a taxi outside the hotel, unless you make a reservation / book uber beforehand.

Room: clean, size is good. You can request extra pillows; they offer different kinds, e.g. memory foam pillows, etc. The toilet and the shower area are separate from each other. The bed mattress is on the firm side, but I prefer it this way, so this is a plus for me. Location: peaceful and quiet, a few meters away from the train station and bus stop, multiple convenience stores and ATMs nearby. It's nearby the creative park, which was a good place to relax and hang out. Service: Staff are very friendly and helpful! I had a problem with a delivery, and they kindly helped me even if they didn't have to. They provided one welcome drink per person, a nice touch. Others: The snack bar was a great touch! The theme is "snacks from your childhood". It was awesome to get a taste of what childhood snacks are in Taiwan. It's well-stocked and very clean.

Very well-designed and family friendly. All staff very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast is delicious. Everything is very clean and there are a lot of unique and artistic touches that make this place stand out compared to others. Also the location is close to Fuhang soymilk, Taipei Main station and the Huashan Creative Park and other shops.

Maybe some foreigners might find the rooms small or claustrophobic, but for the area, the designers made a really smart use of space

Great location, close to MRT 2 stops away from Taipei Main Stn and bus stop right outside. Was quiet despite the rather central location (stayed on floor 3). We had 3 single beds and despite the small room size there was space to have our luggage’s out and lots of room to hang clothes/items. All toilets are equipped with a bidet. There are snacks in the lobby and a free welcome drink!

Room didn’t have a separate bathroom but that is understandable due to smaller room size, we used the lobby bathroom if needed.

I liked the fact that each of the beds had dedicated sockets with USB connection which we only found out upon arriving. What made me choose this hotel was that the sink was accessible from the main room while the T&B were separate from each other. This meant each of the facilities allowed independent access which I thought was most ideal for triple sharing. I do not recall seeing any other hotel room designed this way.

It could have offered a bit more space and a view (we had none) but that is just a nice to have.

Unfortunately, we booked a room without a window. The staff was able to accommodate us and change our room—thank you! The property has a cool design and is very well located, with lots of food and shopping options, as well as the subway nearby.

To our surprise, the bed was rock hard and difficult to get used to. Unfortunately, it's not stated on the booking site when rooms come without windows. The hotel is right next to some main roads, so it can get a bit noisy.

Convenient location, close to MRT. It is quiet and clean. The welcoming drink and snack bar zone is a bonus.

Areas that are visible are clean but some areas which are not too obvious are full of dusts. For example, there is a pillar in our room. We could see that the pillar was full of dust when we climbed up to the second deck of the beds. The second deck of the beds are quite high even for adults. So, it is not recommended for the kids to sleep on the second deck. Since our room does not have any window. It is recommended to add more lights. It is rather dark as a whole.
