I had an absolutely amazing stay at Work Inn Hostel at Taipeh 101 - The location couldn’t be better – just a short distance from Taipei 101 and the Elephant Mountain trail, making it perfect for both sightseeing and hiking. A special shoutout to Abby and Phoebe, who went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, they greeted me with such warmth and kindness. They were always available to answer any question, no matter how big or small, and their local tips made my trip so much better. Their professionalism and friendliness really set this hostel apart! If you’re visiting Taipei, I cannot recommend Work Inn Hostel at Taipei 101 enough – the atmosphere, location, and amazing staff like Abby and Phoebe make it truly one-of-a-kind.

The price is excellent and location is very good. They offer free coffee and tea and free use of cooking equipments /(ref, microwave, stove, etc) at the common area. They also have a mini garden at the 3/f. Food establishments are just a few walk away. The night and day markets are accessible. Place is secured using access card to enter the rooms. Staff can understand and speak basic english.

Some customers do not follow the house rules in maintaining quietness and peace of the room since it’s a dormitory type. Staff should’ve called their attention to make sure rules are imposed.

Good location near lots of restaurants, cafes, bakeries and next to seven eleven! Really easy to get to the metro and the metro stop is on the red line which I used a lot to explore Taipei. A bus stop right outside which was really handy! Nice and clean private room. The shared bathroom kept very clean and didn’t ever need to wait to use the toilet or shower. Receptionist really nice and check in and check out very easy.

The friendly staff is willing to help and speaks great English. The beds are comfy, and there is a light and an outlet. Everything is clean. There is also a washing machine (TWD 60) and a dryer (TWD 10 per 6 minutes), which is helpful while travelling! The Wi-Fi is strong and under the bed there is a locker (you don’t need your own lock).

There are a few chairs upstairs to sit on, but I would not call it a lobby. There is not much space to work on your laptop or relax.

Comfy bed plenty of room for 2 in double capsule. Good showers and really clean. Good location. Nice staff.

There are no nice communal/hang out areas The door to the dorm is very loud as it opens and closes so we woke up a few time in the night. The light from the lobby stays on all night and it shines through door which meant our capsule was quite bright as we were first bed on ground floor. Bathrooms are in the dorm (separated by a door)and this also added to noise in the dorm.

Prime location: near the 101, with a Pxmart supermarket, 711, and a bus stop right outside the gate. This affordable single room is ideal for sleep-deprived guests or those needing a quiet space to focus. Some guests may forget the late hour, but their courtesy keeps the noises down. —> Don’t forget to ask for the free earplugs. Hygiene: Decent. I haven’t tried their laundry yet.

The lights are too bright for close contact, so much that I need to wear sunglasses indoors.

The hostel leaves the lights on all night in the dorm room so "people don't have an accident" even though each bed has its own light. Therefore the light shines into your capsule all night because the blinds are white and have a gap between the wood. The showers in the bathroom are super low so if you are bigger than 1.60 you have to hold the shower above your head.

10 stars location, Taipei 101 area, night market is just a block away, both fancy and local cafes, restaurants and bars around, super convenient. Staffs are attentive and friendly. Basically clean.

Only one toilet is available on 2nd floor which is not enough at all. About the room, I think more hooks will be a big bonus, only one hook makes a problem for wet towels those things.

The price is so affordable, the location is good near taipei mrt, taipei 101 and our favorite place to have fun is also very near everything is walking distance. The staffs are very kind, they can communicate also in english that's is very good for us that who can't speak chinese well. The beds are so comfortable, the shower rooms are also good even the toilet are very nice. That's why whenever we want to stay in taipei, WORK INN is our number 1 choice 🥰😍☺️

Super kind and helpful staff! You get what you pay for in terms of bunk beds in a room with other people, so experiences will differ with personal preferences and different habits of new neighbors every night. That’s just hostel life! The free earplugs help~ Everything was clean and the showers have awesome hot water and pressure. It met our needs for our 7 day stay!

It was summer, so it would have been a little better with stronger AC, but again, it’s a great deal, so I couldn’t complain.
